i get so engrossed in all the U.S cases, praying for all the missing babies with you all etc and here we have issues close to my home that scare me just as much.

A man rapes his daughter for 30 years, fathers 4 of her children, SHE reports it, but doesn't want to press charges because she is 'scared' and they let him continue!  Her mother denies knowing anything.

I'm very upset with our Department of Human Services right now.

Some of the worst crimes occur in the home.  A good hiding place for predators.  So overlooked.     So sad.

I'm just so shocked with this situation for this Australian woman.  It's unreal to me that the family have been in touch with community services and welfare for 30 years, she reported her abuse, but it was allowed to continue.  One of her 4 children fathered by her father, died.  All born in local hospitals.  Why was nothing done? Why do people decide its not their business?  Even when it is their ONLY business?

I sometimes wonder if it's all about the budget.  Can't keep placing kids in foster care.  That's probably why they let so many out of jail too, overcrowding.  Just sayin.

I just had a bowl of  Schwan's Autumn Treat® Ice Cream
Luscious pumpkin flavored ice cream with a swirling ribbon of rich cinnamon and plenty of crunchy praline pecans.

It was delish!

omg that sounds scrumptious.  I see the Schwan's truck all the time around here, never have ordered.  Is it as good as Haggan Dazzzz???  (sp)
