In 2004 and 2005, Judge Rodriguez participated as a speaker on drugs, substance abuse, and prevention at parent/student gatherings sponsored by the Orange County Coalition for a Drug Free Community at Apopka High School (English), West Orange High School (English), and Colonial High School (Spanish).

Colonial HS?  Isn't there where whorseface attended?

I bet there was an auditorium full of fidgity, bored kids, if Rodriguez talked the way he does in court.

It's almost as bad as fingernails on a chalkboard.

State calls bluff on Casey Anthony 'innocent' claim

State prosecutors filed new motions in the Casey Anthony case asking the defense to prove they have the evidence they say they have.

In court in August 21st, Miss Anthony's defense said they have evidence proving the body of Caylee Anthony was dumped in the woods after she was locked up in jail. Attorney Todd Macaluso said the evidence proves the accused child killer is innocent.

But in a motion filed Thursday, state prosecutors call the defense's bluff, saying they're either hiding evidence they were supposed to provide to the state or "the evidence doesn't exist."

They asked judge Stan Strickland to force Miss Anthony's defense to hand over the exculpatory evidence under the "defendant's reciprocal discovery obligation."

Todd Macaluso obviously doesn't watch the Nancy Grace show- in particular the one where Tim Miller was interviewed, when he stated that they could not search the area due to water levels being too high- they started to search and lost an ATV it was so deep back there.  There were no "hundred thousand people" searching that area. Tim called it off almost as soon as they started.
Facts, Mr Macaluso, just the facts.

If I read the motion correct, it is way past the 15 days (allowed by law) that Mac announced the "significant" evidence proving someone else placed Caylee's body in the woods.  Someone please help me out with this one.

Appreciate your posting this.  If I was Zenaida, I would surely want my name cleared, and in a timely manner.  It's almost too late for timely, however.  I would suspect that Judge Rodriguez would also, if he found himself in her predicament.  In fact, he would be jumping up & down, imo.

Zenaida has some excellent attorneys.  I'm glad for that.

In this mess of bad people, the good ones really stand out!!  Yuri, John Allen, Tim Miller, Mark Nejame, and the Morgan attorneys are the ones that really stick out in my mind...I am sure there are others....they are certainly out numbered by the others...but they have goodness on their side......angels among devils!!

Prosecutors: Show Us Evidence Of Who Dumped Caylee
Motion Filed In Casey Anthony Case
POSTED: 4:28 pm EDT September 10, 2009
UPDATED: 4:48 pm EDT September 10, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla.-- Prosecutors want defense attorneys to provide documents about their claim that someone other than Casey Anthony disposed of her daughter Caylee's body.

In a motion filed late Thursday, the state attorney's office asks a judge to order Anthony's attorneys to turn over "the names and addresses as well as all supporting documentation" about their claim, which was made in court as recently as last month.

Prosecutors said they have the right to review the evidence as part of the discovery process, where each side turns over evidence in preparation for a trial.

Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her daughter, whose remains were found in woods in Orange County in December 2008. Anthony is in Orange County Jail awaiting trial sometimes next year.
The defense has suggested there is evidence that Casey Anthony was in jail at the time when Caylee's body could have been dumped. They point to searches of the area that did not turn up the body, including during a time Anthony was in jail.

Marti McKenzie, a defense team spokeswoman, said Thursday, "Mr. Baez will always follow the appropriate rules and regulations of the law in Florida." (PDF: Read The Motion)

In a related matter, attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez said in a new motion they are willing to drop their quest to force Casey Anthony to answer questions if it means their civil defamation lawsuit does not get put on the back burner.

. Gonzalez shares the same name with the woman Anthony said kidnapped Caylee. In their argument, Gonzalez's lawyers said "there is no room for sympathy because a civil defendant has serious criminal problems."

This week, the judge said he wanted to reconsider delaying Gonzalez's suit because Anthony is now facing a death penalty trial. He's expected to rule on this issue in about a month.

Yes, you read the motion correct.  The state (Linda !) cites the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure section and code which require reciprocal discovery by biasbutt and team.  She further asserted that 1.  No such evidence exists.  (IE: they are grandstanding and blowing hot air, to try to sway potential jury pool <---- this part is me!) or 2. the defense team is INTENTIONALLY violating Flordia Rules of Civil Procedure.  (me again, thus showing the court they have NO RESPECT for the judge, court or the laws governing discovery!)
Does that help?
