I would just like to make a quick comment here, the only reason for people not to show up for something that concerns them this much is that they are expecting a favorable outcome...I have my big girl panties on too. 

Well the civil case is still ongoing, so Spindy and George WILL have to show up tomorrow. IMO

Here's my problem with letting this judge delay the trial until after the murder trial...Casey will then not have any money left.  Right now she has money from tv, book and movie rights.  However once she is found guilty of murder the money train legally has to stop.  So one point of a defamation suit is to clear ZG'S name.

I also think if casey attorney doesn't file before the close of business today a request for a gag order, he is stupid.  In addition, if he doesn't - casey can appeal based on inadequate representation.  Much as I would hate to see the flow of information to stop, it seems it must in this case to preserve the higher prize.

Yet.  The way he is teaching from his bench is making me gag.  I can see him weeping when he gives his ruling as he whines that it took him a month to get to it with sleepless nights.

The other point of the defamation is to get ZG money for her not being able to be employed and the suffering it has caused her and her family.

If Casey is in jail destitute due to the expenses of the murder trial..then ZG will never be compensated properly..and the longer this civil case waits ..the more money I feel ZG is due.  But you can't get blood out of a turnip.

So postponing this case will only hurt ZG.  I think you could continue with the civil case if Casey has already pled the 5th...then all you are there to establish is that it was not this ZG who kidnapped Caylee.

You don't have to prove who kidnapped her, just that it wasn't this ZG.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Florida judge has postponed deciding whether to dismiss a defamation lawsuit filed by a Central Florida woman who claims Casey Anthony damaged her reputation.

The judge in Orlando also delayed deciding whether to postpone the defamation lawsuit until after Anthony's criminal trial on a first-degree murder charge. Prosecutors allege that Anthony killed her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony has pleaded not guilty and says a nanny named Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped Caylee.

Investigators believe Anthony made up the story about the nanny.

A woman named Zenaida Gonzalez claims in the defamation lawsuit that her reputation was damaged as a result of Anthony's story about the nanny.
