Should the Government regulate every aspect of our life?  Should Federal government oversee our state and local governments?

With regard to Katrina Red Tape -

"Our approach is simple: Government must keep its responsibility to the people, so that Americans have the opportunity to take responsibility for their future," Obama said in his address, released during his vacation on Martha's Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts.

It seems to me the Federal government has the responsibilities outlined in the Constitution.  All this Debt, The Federal Reserve, and interference go way beyond those enduring values.

All Americans will be forced to pay for generations for Obama's Debt.  Generations will be taking responsibility for Obama's payments to special interest groups.

How does ACORN and it's related organizations spend all that money?  Any value to taxpayers?  Money flushed down the toilet?

"I have also made it clear that we will not tolerate red tape that stands in the way of progress or the waste that can drive up the bill," said Obama. "Government must be a partner -- not an opponent -- in getting things done."

After reading for years that government payments and programs are a driving force behind medical inflation, and waste and 'driving up the bill', why isn't government taking their hands out of taxpayer pockets, the cookie jar, and letting Americans find the best value for themselves, their families, and their communities?

Why should government be a partner or an opponent?  Why is Obama's government involved at all?

Big government is a destroyer.  The only partnerships seem to be corruption related, payments to special interest groups, and big business.

Cut out the middle man between taxpayer pockets, and the end result.  No more big government - big government creates waste, debt, and misery.

imho
