Would my theory that Guido was very involved, but his boss, Posner, covered for him and provided an alibi by saying he was working fit into the time-line better?

Presumably there is videotape showing Huido at the casino until he got off work.  

So if Guido was involved at all I think it was most likely after the fact in helping Joran remove the body from the beach.  The problem with that tho is there is a 40 minute gap between Joran's phone call to Deepak and when Guido got off work, was he just waiting outside the casino all that time?  Why not go in to make sure Guido was there?

I wonder if Guido had a dinner break that night, and if so, what time? And if so, what did he do during that break!?!?!?!?!

At some point they have to go with what they have and if making an offer of lesser charges against the Kalpoes is a solution, is it possible ? they will only go to trial if they have enough for a conviction. They will not make offers, our system does not allow that
They do this in Canada. Sometines it backfires and they find that they have made a deal with the devil
in order to get a conviction. making deals is almost impossible to backfire due to the immense restrictive nature of the law on crown-witnesses
