A missing adult alert has been issued for 18-year-old Lindsay McHugh of Piqua, who was last seen on Sept. 2, late in the evening. Her family heard her moving around within the house between 5 and 6 a.m. Sept. 3.

McHugh is 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighs 154 pounds and has blonde hair and brown eyes. She took a pink and blue checkered book bag, a gray suitcase with mickey mouse on it and an Ohio State tote bag.

The two suspects in her disappearance are Richard Tharp and Thomas Steen.

Tharp is a convicted sex offender with multiple offenses in New Jersey and North Carolina. He has used multiple alias’ in the past and may go by: Kyle Cornelius, Anthony Cornelius, Scott Tharp and Steven Tharp.

He is approximately 37-years-old with red hair and hazel eyes. His height is 5 feet 7 inches and his weight is 189 pounds.

Steen has a criminal history for identity theft, embezzlement and counterfeiting. He is approximately 28-years-old with blonde hair and blue eyes. His height is 6 feet 1 inches and he weighs 147 pounds.

The suspects may be driving a white 1993 Mazda MX-3 with North Carolina license plate number YXP8349.

McHugh has the mental capacity of an 8 or 9-year-old. She met Tharp online and agreed to meet him without her parents' consent. Direction of travel is unknown.

Tharp and Steen have warrants issued for their arrest for abduction and interference with child custody.

SILVER ALERT ISSUED: Missing Miami Co. Woman

MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio -- A SILVER ALERT has been issued for an 18-year-old mentally challenged woman from near Piqua.

She is identified as Lindsay McHugh. Lindsay is 5'3" and weighs 154 pounds. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.

Her parents reported her missing on Thursday morning.

Police believe she is with two men from Raleigh, North Carolina. Kyle Cornelius, 37, is a registered sex offender. The other man is identified as Thomas Steen, who also has a criminal record.

Her parents believe Lindsay met these men while chatting on the internet.

Woman, 2 Suspects Found In N.C.

MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio -- The Miami County Sheriff's Office said an 18-year-old mentally challenged woman has been found in North Carolina, along with two men whom she was allegedly with.

The three were found in Raleigh, N.C. by officers with the Raleigh Police Department. Deputies in Miami County said the three were found "alive and healthy."

The Miami County teen was reported missing by her parents at 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the teen was with two men from the Raleigh area. Kyle Cornelius, 37, is a registered sex offender. The other man is identified as Thomas Steen, who also has a criminal record.

Cornelius and Steen are being held on warrants out of Miami County on charges of abduction and interfering with custody.

The teen's parents believe their daughter met these men while chatting on the Internet.
