George is so interested in telling familyies to take DNA swabs from their loved ones but when the time came for Cindy to give Caylee's DNA she gave them the wrong brush. Can you say Hypocrite.

Also, didn't LE have to get a subpoena to force leessssy to submit to a DNA profile?  Or do I need more coffee?

Good morning, folks!

This is going to have to be a post and run because I've spent more time than I planned reading back posts.

However, I will check back later tonight to see if anyone has an answer to what is confusing me today...

Why is there such a lapse of time from the "announcement" of a plan to depose and the actual deposition?

(What confuses me is that it's nearly TWO months until the deposition of Dominic and Mallory.  Why give this much notice?)

This may be normal but I've never noticed it before......
That date threw me as well. The only thing I can figure is that is the first time available to do the depos as this is not the only case the state is working on.
Agree - scheduling issue might be part of the reason, but my number one reason is they know and are allowing time for the potpourri of motions and objections they will get and will need to be heard before the depos can go off.  Esp. DC.

H Y P O C R I T E!!  And she laughed about saying she thought about giving them the dogs toothbrush!!
Good morning monkeys  Question  giving the wrong toothbrush to LE isn't that obstruction of justice- if it is-then why no charges against SIN SIN -couldn't the prosecution call her and George as hostile witness

Also interesting that Bozo had taken possession of Caylees toothbrush until recently, he didnt bother to give it to LE.

Why isn't Baez being charged with withholding evidence?  He knew at that point.  Also, didn't he have an ethical obligation to disclose to LE those hidden items after Caylee's body was identified?  His client is/was the primary suspect, on bail, and removed identifying articles from the home and gave them to him.  At that point, didn't he become an accessory after the fact.  Why would your oh-so-innocent-you-all-are-going-to-understand-after-we-explain-it-all-my-client-was-a-good-mom-the-Nanny-took-Caylee-oh-wait-someone-else-did-oh-wait-anyone-else-did-I'm-innocent-a-grieving-mother Client feel the need to hide anything of Caylee's????  I want Baez to answer that one in a court of law and in front of the FL Bar Association.  If you please, ASAP.

P.S.  Would there be DNA evidence on that toothbrush of drugging?

Just for legality's sake:

Self-edit:  He knew then!  IMO, He knew then.

Why else would your client be hiding a box with a missing child's toothbrush and a few other things?  Like that's normal behavior....NOT!  I'm sure every parent of a missing child thinks, "Oh, I have to save their toothbrush in case we find them.  Oh, here...let me quickly go grab it and we'll put in a box and give it to our lawyer for safekeeping.".  Riiiiiiiiiiight.  You know that's their foremost concern.  Uh-huh.  Every parent is so sentimental that they keep every toothbrush their child ever owned- Oh wait, that story won't fly either, huh?

However, your client may very well want to hide that toothbrush if it was in a decomp smelling car and maybe came into contact with some decomp (or may have been bleachy clean b/c it came into contact with some decomp).  Your client might also think about hiding that toothbrush if the DNA matches some evidence found at a murder scene or has DNA that will show drug-use.  Hhhhhmmm...something to think about.

Sorry for my lapse in manners!  Good afternoon, all!  Had just a few to catch up, so I'm off and running again.  Hope you have a great day! BBL, Lord willing.

By this time im sure bozo or casey removed all evidence of dna on that toothbrush. It strikes me that i use to think attorneys and forensic experts were honest. After the stunt with Dr. Lee as the spector trial and now the idiot baden twins who i now see are out to make a buck by testifying, and oh god that awful Kobalenski who is an idiot...the only way you can trust an expert is if they arent being paid.

This is EXACTLY what I thought was gonna happen, back when Baez came out of the A's house carrying a bunch of stuff.  Do you remember that?  It was right after one of the big searches of the home that LE did.  A pic showed Baez holding stuff.  And some of us wondered then, WTH??  What would HE need to take out of that home?  And why?  And would that even be legal????????

Just have to wonder......... what ELSE might he have?
