Surprise! I just got a reply from my e-mail with Mr Sellick with Simon and Schuster. I sent him a question about CBS and quoted what he said last summer. This is his reply:

Yes, this is the case and will be the case. We are not doing a book with them.

Good, now the question is where is Lee living and is he still with Malory? He has probably ran away from home.

Where is our spy monkey that used to give us little updates?  Shall we call Lois?  J/K

I asked that question after that article the other day stated they didn't know what Mallory an Lee's relationship was.  I was told that they are most likely still together as they are seen over at the Anthony's house a lot.

NoRose, (I think it was you)  I think I also remember the Judge ruling that the duhfense could have the crime scene when the investigators were finished.  And then when they were offered the site, they said they weren't interested!

In addition, the defense filed a document asking the judge to grant a previous request from the state, which asked for a transcript of Casey Anthony's father's s testimony before the grand jury. George Anthony's appearance before the grand jury preceded his daughter's indictment.

Casey Anthony's defense team filed more motions this afternoon.

WFTV-Channel 9's anchor Martie Salt succinctly explained that the motions ask "the judge to either throw out the murder case against her or move the trial to South Florida." Casey is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Salt added: "The defense says the state failed to preserve any evidence that could clear Casey by not allowing defense experts to be present where Caylee's remains were found in December while investigators were processing the area. The defense also wants the jail videos of Casey and her family to be destroyed."

Central Florida News 13 said one motion asks that recording at the jail be stopped when Anthony is talking to her lawyers and family.

CBS affiliate WKMG-Channel 6 previewed a "48 Hours Mystery" on the Anthony case. Anchor Mike Garofalo said the hour "will take a closer look at how Casey's parents are working to prove her innocence."

WKMG said the hour will air Oct. 17, but CBS News said that date had not been confirmed.

This latest news from the defense just irritates the heck of of me! I'll bet it's true......... they DO need George and Cindy to be able to talk with Casey in order to prepare a defense. They aren't dealing with truth, so they need to orchestrate something! I can't imagine that Conway would advise them to lie, and if I were him, I wouldn't allow Baez to evn speak with them without my presence, so he needs Casey to hep him work out getting things in court they can "veri-lie". Baez won't allow the visits if they're recorded because the "real" Casey shows through, and the real Casey is easily discernable as a murdering biotch. Furthermore, the lengths to which Cindy will go to get Casey off becomes pretty evident.

I'll bet they do want those tapes destroyed! They show just how concerned about Caylee Casey was during the time Casey supposedly believed she had been kidnapped! I seem to recall the wail, "EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM ME!" Boo-frickin-Hoo!

The motion to dismiss and the accusations about the crime scene just serve to try to lay down appealable argument.

Ohhhhh, I wish Lyons wasn't on this case!

According to the motion, "the state deliberately misled the court and delayed formal identification of remains so it could obtain exclusive control of the crime scene through Dec. 19, 2008" the date the medical examiner announced the remains belonged to the little girl.

The skeletal remains was discovered Dec. 11, 2008 by a meter reader.

Defense lawyers said exculpatory evidence was not preserved and that violate Casey Anthony's rights. Exculpatory evidence supports a defendant's claim of innocence.

Anthony's lawyers contend the state erred by tampering with the victim's remains and excavation location before the defense could bring in it's own experts.

Her lawyers wanted to hire off-duty police officer to secure the area, but the state attorney's office wouldn't permit it.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's defense team filed four motions Thursday in the murder case she's facing in the death of her daughter Caylee.

The defense team's "Amended Motion for Venue Change" (read it) asks the judge to either throw out the murder case against Casey Anthony or move the trial to south Florida.

A "Motion To Dismiss Due To Spoliation Of Evidence" (read it) has the defense saying the state failed to preserve any evidence that could clear Casey by not allowing defense experts to be present where Caylee's remains were found in December while investigators were processing the area.

The defense also wants the jail videos of Casey and her family to be destroyed and submitted a "Protective Order" (read it) requesting such action.

The defense also issued a response to the state's request to "compel reciprocal evidence" (read it) and asked that attorney visits with Casey not be videotaped (read it).
