Good morning monkeys--If they find Haleigh in that pond then what.  Do you think Ron will talk about the case with Misty-disty-I really dont know what to make of her-is she just stupid-is she just a liar-or is she another KC and Ron witht that poor me Miss Nancy-- dont know what to make of him either-I have been married for 40 years-and when one of my children call and my husband forgets to tell me what they wanted I get Mad-she forgets where his daugther is and he marries her.  Why do these people have children-- Have they not heard of Birth Control-all they wan to do is party so party dont bring innocents into the world if you have no intention of taking care of them.

They wouldn't be doing what they are doing without very, very good knowledge of what is to be found, most cities/LE are strapped for cash, this would not be going on without a huge purpose, imo.

I'm thinking the same thing. That's not a small pond either. Hopefully there will finally be answers to this tragic mystery.

I sure hope so, but that statement by Granny yesterday about Haleigh won't be found there, has me very concerned. Either she knows where Haleigh is, or she said that because she doesn't want to face that thought. I really am not sure what I think the answer is.

She may be going by the statement that the police put out there about this being only an evidence hunt. I don't know what to think either.

About the draining and where it all goes...years ago we lived in an area that needed two ponds drained two different times/cases. Where it all goes depends on the size...ditches, waterways, etc... I've seen some angry citizens about drainage down shared waterways. I'm concerned about evidence being lost too.

Sorry, this is a comment on the Scanner, I would not take everything you hear on the scanner as fact, this is only an opinion. What IF they wanted to feed some false to a listener, this is a nation wide scanner and can reach anyone anywhere,
is that right?  Yes, I have watched more detective shows that I should have in my life time, and because I have watched so
many Columbo, Barney Jones, etc. my mind is open to the possiblilty that information given out is for a certain few people to hear
or read. I know it is funny, but, I'm sure tricks on played on TV and in real life. This is only a silly opinion.

maybe...but listening to them..well, last night they seem to confuzzle themselves with the real stuff.  i don't think they are set up for a disinformation party.    JMO

I was afraid to ask  but I'm not understanding where the water all goes when you drain a good size pond like that? 

from the photos posted by Ger (link is a few pages back) looks like it's being drained into roadside ditches.

I've been wondering, though - isn't it possible that evidence could be drained out with the water?

    I read somewhere there is somekind of screen on the hoses?

Interesting that it's said they've already drained the pond 5-6 feet.  I could have sworn that I read yesterday that the pond was about 5 ft. deep.

Maybe they are referring to the distance across the pond.  So, if it is 25ft across...they may mean they have drained 5-6 feet across, not depth. 

That is how I am taking it, considering the depth is 5ft.

I believe I heard a reporter say on one of the videos that the size of the pond/lake that they are draining currently is  about 5 acres.

I believe it is, but I just gave a...25ft...as an example of what I was trying to say.

I think we might have been getting the spin from LE re Tommy and possible info he may have been sharing since his arrest. 

Cuz... for one thing, LE reported that on Thursday PM, Tommy was escorted FROM the jail TO the detectives for questioning, there was even a pic in the media of the escort.  And yet, don't the detectives come to the inmates not the other way around?? 

And then LE reported somewhere in the media that Tommy LED them to the evidence later found.  Which, IMO, was what LE and Tommy were REALLY doing out and about on Thursday night.  NOT being escorted to any 'ole detectives office.  IMO. 

Then LE must have had a head-smacking V8 moment.. Cuz they later reported that Tommy had not given info that led to the evidence found.  Course not.  Uh hmmmm.       He led them right to it. 

And very likely will need protective custody for quite some time.

Not to argue the point, but imho if he did say that then that would only increase the speculation of some that he and his 17 year old are cohorts in the disappearance of HaLeigh.
