Just off the police scanner there is a man reporting something of an undisclosed nature been placed in his mailbox last night. What is it with people in Putnam and putting things ion peoples mailboxes???
Is there anyone related to the case who lives on Fowler St. (sp?)

I don't normally post over here, (ususally I'm on the Caylee thread,) but I have been following Haleigh's case.  Would this be the time to trot out the Milstead/Kidfinders sonar boat?  Is this something it could be used for?

Yep, that is if it can be wrested away from George and his fishing.  LOL

Would rather have Tim Miller trot out his side sonar boat.

I think we might have been getting the spin from LE re Tommy and possible info he may have been sharing since his arrest.

Cuz... for one thing, LE reported that on Thursday PM, Tommy was escorted FROM the jail TO the detectives for questioning, there was even a pic in the media of the escort.  And yet, don't the detectives come to the inmates not the other way around??

And then LE reported somewhere in the media that Tommy LED them to the evidence later found.  Which, IMO, was what LE and Tommy were REALLY doing out and about on Thursday night.  NOT being escorted to any 'ole detectives office.  IMO.

Then LE must have had a head-smacking V8 moment.. Cuz they later reported that Tommy had not given info that led to the evidence found.  Course not.  Uh hmmmm.       He led them right to it.

And very likely will need protective custody for quite some time.

All IMO.

what a smart Monkey you are!  i didn't even think about that. an angelic monkey
Wow I hope you are right, I was thinking that they wanted Misty (or someone) to THINK he had been giving up some info but it would be so much better if he has actually done it.

Snipped from a different part of the same article that NoRose posted upthread:

<quote Ron>

"I know who my friends are," he said. "Three of my best friends are helping me. Terry Shoemaker, Dan Mowrey and Brandon Beardsley."

http://www.staugustine.com/stories/092009/news_092009_040.shtml

IMO, kinda sad when it comes down to having his attorneys as best friends....

  Monkey Devil!  I was going to mention that, but since I messed that post all up, I thought I'd stop    Interesting to have best friends who are attorneys, now why is that?

   They are the only one's that believe the ...long drawn out story....
    And what could he  possibly be saying to Misty all day long, didn't Britney Spears look hot at her latest show?  The conversion I'm sure is lacking.

LOL!  Always a good time to go fishing though I don't think there is too much bass in that bit of water so Georgie might just decide to stay home instead.
OMG and get that fishing boat all muddy

I was just reading an article of Arts where he is saying how when LE were giving him the runaround about why they were draining and searching the pond, they said it was because of stolen 4wheelers;
http://www.artharris.com/2009/09/19/putnam-county-pond-search-tied-to-haleigh-cummings-tips/#more-2957
 and it just made me think because they had a call in about an hour ago about a stolen 4 wheeler but then they were talking about a young 12yr old female and a man with no shirt on. Probably is just a stolen 4wheeler but it got me thinking?

Reposting from last night.

Questions about ratgate.  I've always wondered who has a key to this mailbox and was it locked?  It just struck me as odd that the mailbox had a key lock on it.   I wondered why the mailman put the mail thru the slit unless it was locked?  Just strange and alot of work imo.  It also does not appear they finger printed the mailbox because we know these people don't wipe the dust off after being printed.  Remember the kitchen light switch.   Maybe just another piece of staged bs to me.  jm thoughts on ratgate.

Ya know Sharlock, that could be!!  Sure wouldn't be the first time that LE in a case 'let something slip', in order to watch the reactions etc. of others they may find suspicious.  Let em squirm, wondering... kind of thing.  Good point!

Interesting not to mention the woman he recently married.

Oops...make that a 17 year old.

Not to argue the point, but imho if he did say that then that would only increase the speculation of some that he and his 17 year old are cohorts in the disappearance of HaLeigh.

Could be.

But...imo...I think it's interesting he's not mentioning her, his mother, family, etc...

Imo, his perspective is often short sighted. Nick and I find it odd.

I really don't know, but it seems to be a popular thing there to put horrible things in people's mailboxes. If I'm not mistaken I think Lisa is the one who went to get the mail.
