Good Morning.  an angelic monkey

I haven't really read back yet. But my hands are shaking so much I can barely type. I had one of the biggest anxiety attacks this morning I have ever had since 9/11. It has always been a bad day for me, but every year it was getting a little better. For some reason this morning it isn't. I couldn't even leave the house today, and my son and hubby are doing the shopping. Sorry, I know everyone must be having a bad day too. I just wanted you all to understand if I am weirder than usual.

For you Fanny

Thank you, JSM.  an angelic monkey The anniversary of my younger sister's death was two days ago. I got through that ok, I thought. Now it is all hitting me again, even though it was 19 years ago. September has been a bad month for me for a long time. Her birthday was exactly a week after mine, although she was 6 years older than me. She always said she didn't have a sixth birthday party, and had to go to first grade alone because Mama was still in the hospital. My sister who was four years older than her took her that day.  But she loved me anyhow. I was always the baby sister, and that is what I am feeling like today.

I have no doubt it was NOT a training test. Nobody could forget the significance of today. I have known people in the Coast Guard. They lost people too.

Bear attacks Colorado man inside his home

ASPEN, Colo. – A man was attacked by a large black bear in his Aspen home in the latest in a string of violent encounters with the animals this summer in the mountain community.

Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman Randy Hampton said the man had gone to the first floor of his home to check on his three barking dogs when the bear struck him in the head.

Hampton said the man did not suffer life-threatening injuries and was being treated at a local hospital. Wildlife officers are expected to talk to the man Friday morning. Hampton said it's unknown how the bear entered the home.

Fox is reporting that the Coast Guard incident occurred just as the Presidential motorcade was crossing the bridge.

My nephew is a pilot for one of the airlines that went into the towers. He flew out of NY and NJ daily, and had just started that route. It was about three hours until we found out he was in Dallas at a required training session.

Do you have any meds for anxiety attacks  an angelic monkey It is very hard to deal with those attacks without something. May I suggest getting a paper bag and breathing in and out with the bag covering your mouth, sometimes not always it helps with the breathing, I learnt that on one of my trips to the hospital, when I thought I was having a heart attack, and it was an anxiety attack on steroids. I would say try to calm down, but that is pointless to say too people, maybe not watch much news.

There are saying something about looking into this, because it was a poor choice to do the training today, but that are constantly training.

Yes, I do. I don't have to take it very often. I've taken two. I just want not to scare my family.

You know I wouldn't wish anxiety attacks on anyone, and they are not funny. But one time I got one while driving, and by the time I could figure out how to get off the freeway and stop the car, my hands wouldn't let go of the steering wheel, I had a death grip on it, and my hands had cramps. I have never driven on the freeway since.
