Husbands home he will not finish painting if I don't turn the crackpots off, and then proceeded to put Obama's speech on. So I sent him downstairs until the speech is over. I will have a cowboy and Indian movie on the TCM channel, that is probably neutral  I just want this painting done
Obama is having a speech. Wonder how many people are at the speech. Not as many as are in DC today.

Tea party activists rally at U.S. Capitol
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- On the final stop of the Tea Party Express, tens of thousands marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday to protest health care reform, higher taxes and what they see as out-of-control government spending.
The conservative advocacy group began its tour in Sacramento, California, and made its way across the country, hosting rallies in about 30 cities. Washington is the final destination. Demonstrators gathered on the west side of the Capitol on Saturday and the crowd stretched for blocks

At each stop, the tour highlighted members of Congress "who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses," according to the Tea Party Express Web site.

One woman at the rally summed up her feelings about issues this way: "It's too much too fast."

Thousands pack D.C. to protest spending, taxes
Fiscal conservatives converge for 'March on Washington'

WASHINGTON - Thousands of people marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, carrying signs with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick" as they protested the president's health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.

The line of protesters completely filled Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. People were chanting "enough, enough" and "We the People." Others yelled "You lie, you lie!" and "Pelosi has to go," referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

Is it possible for 1.5 to 2 million people in that area? I haven't been to Washington DC in awhile, and am trying to picture that many people.  CSPAN is usually a good channel for events such as this
How many were at that d*mn inauguration in January?
Had to ask my husband that one, 3-4 milllion    I don't believe him is that true?

Demonstrators waved U.S. flags and held signs reading "Go Green Recycle Congress" and "I'm Not Your ATM." Men wore colonial costumes as they listened to speakers who warned of "judgment day" -- Election Day 2010.

Richard Brigle, 57, a Vietnam War veteran and former Teamster, came from Paw Paw, Mich. He said health care needs to be reformed -- but not according to President Barack Obama's plan.
