I'm speechless. How do people afford to eat?

What do you mean, I think that is pretty cheap.

..for the whole shelf!  Have mercy!

Well I figure that would be one way to stop drinking soda

I want to know how much the price of ML is up there.

There was no liquor store up there and to get in liquor it had to come in by air from Norman Wells, Iqaluit or Yellowknife.  You had to pay for a permit to import it first as well as import fees from the Nunavut Liquor commission.  That is why I started making my own wine.  A wine kit would make about 30 bottles.  There are many communities up there where it is prohibited to have alcohol because of dependency issues.

There is a KFC and a Pizza Hut up there .
Well that's a relief KFC and Pizza Hut, but are they all over priced also?

I am by no means one of the smartest monkeys in the cage, but this healthcare chit isn't gonna work.
We need affordable healthcare for people that want it. Now how that's going to work I don't know. But there should be something if one wants it, and not be forced to have it.

I'm sure a pizza is 30 bucks or more up there. Wonder what a chicken thigh and biscuit costs?  Monkey Devil!

I'm not giving up my soda either, but if I lived in Canada where the prices are so high, I guess there would be no soda buying  That's strange why in that part of Canada the prices are so high, but I read somewhere that it is very high in Hawaii also.

We would have no choice but to pay for pizza and chicken, by the time I would be done in the kitchen I would have it burnt to the ground. So 30 bucks for a pizza, oh well

Hi! Everybody!  an angelic monkey

Just popped on for a minute to check on MAMA and all the ailing monkeys. We are cooking out today too, as an early celebration for my birthday. I am glad to hear tomorrow is International Angel Day.  an angelic monkey A nice present for me!

I wish all you sick ones were well, and I send you my love and prayers.   an angelic monkey I will still pray for Becky, LOVIN'S friend, and TRIMM'S neighbor friend.

Hubby and son bought me a beautiful lighted waterfall for my bedroom. I sometimes have trouble falling asleep at night, and they thought it would help. I will remember BEARLY'S suggestion to put a pillow up between hubby and me for my light in his face. Good idea.

ROLL TIDE! I hope everyone's teams won yesterday, and will win today.

Picture of the waterfall, please?

(Geeze, I hope it does not make you have to keep getting up to go to the bathroom!)

Monkey Devil! I do that on my own already!!! I'll see if I can get one posted.  We as busy as a one legged man in an azz kickin' contest right now, but as soon as we get all the cooking done, I'll post it.

Transportation costs can be part of why it is so expenive. Yes Hawaii is outrageous also. That is why they are the leading consumers of Spam in the USA.

I burn frozen pizzas, so 30 bucks for delivery wouldn't bother me.

Which one?

Can you not save it as angel.gif?

The one you posted when you said it was International Angel Day earlier today. Sometime, .gif's won't save for me. Karma had the same problem with some of them too, and we both have IE7.
