I don't remember if I posted this on Sunday. VERY LONG STORY

Remember I woke up late, so I couldn't go to Mass at the University. I had two choices one over by the rink or what should be my regular parish.

I chose the one by the rink. I leave, its raining get on the highway, try to exit but I see a cop that is blocking the exit. So I had to wait to move back into traffic. Being the nosy monkey that I am I try and look to see what is going on the service road. Cops galore. Loads of them. So I exit the next exit and go back towards the way the cops were. By this time I was running late, but had to rubber neck at the gas station where all the cops were. Crime scene tape, cops standing around something at the gas pumps, and an SUV underneath the bridge.

I get to this church I usually don't go to, knowing Mass is at noon, but parking lot is full. I'm thining I am in the Twilight Zone. All these people filing out of the church. I thought Chit, I missed mass. I walk inside ask an usher if I missed Mass, he said no the one before let out late because the Bishop was there. Blah, blah blah.

So when I left, I went straight up by where the cops were. There were two crime scene vans leaving I wanted so bad to stop and by a diet coke at the gas station.

Came home and looked online, watched the news, nothing.

Found out today. Dude in the SUV was followed by the cops, tried to stop him, he tried to run them over and they shot him.

Sorry for the long windedness, I am getting tired and rambling.

It is awful. I thought maybe it was a car crash or something. I'm usually not a rubber necker, but all the crime scene tape made me look. It was all so strange, because there were two different police departments there. That is what made me look and try to figure out what was going on.

It is awful. I thought maybe it was a car crash or something. I'm usually not a rubber necker, but all the crime scene tape made me look. It was all so strange, because there were two different police departments there. That is what made me look and try to figure out what was going on.

Had he robbed the gas station too?

I bet they were better than Spindy's. I have a feeling she is not such a good cook. I can't imagine eating anything she had prepared. 

Anyhow, they were finished off. We never have leftovers with Salmon patties.  Were they good? I sent you all some cyber patties.

The apartment people are going to give me NEW carpet, NEW countertops, NEW wooden blinds and new microwave!!!!! All at NO cost to me because my lease was just renewed and I guess they are trying to redo the apartments. I haven't gotten a reason, but I think it has to do with the city coming in last month doing their inspection.

PS, I definitely do not live in the hood, but I think maybe they got into trouble when the city inspectors came in for that inspection. That's the only thing I can think of, but they still haven't cited the ones that hang their laundry out on the balcony or people that leave their dogs out all day and night.

So I am very confused, but greatful. I really need new carpet, but NOW I will have to clear out the junk closet.

If I post a picture of a pumpkin I carved, can you have him jumping out of it like a stripper coming out of a cake?

Don't think so, what I read is he was being followed from the Jack in the Box down the road, which is really close.

It hasn't been covered much at all, I just found a story about it today and it was very vague.
