I wish I could help you do all that, but then you have to come here and help me get ready for my dad's visit 

Uh....no, thanks anyway. I have enough crazy in my life! You have my sympathies, in advance. But if I did stop over to help, I'd use some "head psychology" on any members of the family who refuse to play along and make Grampa's visit pleasant. "Head psychology" is what my dad used to call it when he'd thwack us upside the head!

I must have erased the racoon attack on the golf course video.  It was on the 5th hole on the Banana River, a place where a few ferrel cats hang out and some golfers leave cans of cat food for them.  Anyway, there's this racoon hanging out while I'm teeing off (that's teeing not peeing Fanny).  I see the racoon sitting in my golf cart drinking my Gatorade and I scare him off and grap my camera.  He starts to come back to the golf cart and starts hissing so I grabbed a golf club and start yelling at the coon and shaking the club at him.  I wish I still had that video.

Side note:  If anyone gets a credit card application from Airtran, sign up for it.  Once you make a purchase on the CC you get 16 A+ award points, enough to earn you a free round trip flight.

Obama was apparently weighing in on an interruption that occurred the night before during the MTV Video Music Awards where West grabbed the microphone from teen country singer Taylor Swift during her award acceptance speech to announce his belief that Beyonce had a better music video.

I find that a.22 calms them right down.   

Actually, a granny nightgown, shit-kicker boots, a flannel shirt, a tent, a campfire and a scared 17 with an ax was very effective also.

Add this to the visual: Running away from home and spending the school year camping in a state park....we're talking WINTER too, and living 10 miles from school. Thankfully, both me and my roomie (tentee?) had bikes and boyfriends. And the showers at school were divine! Stubborn is as stubborn does.

You slept in a tent for a whole school year? You are one stubborn and crazy monkey.
