Hi, I'm back!

I just heard on FoxNews that four mortars were fired into the Green Zone while Joe Biden is there for a visit. Pray!!! If something happens to him, Pelosi is VP.

We won't be watching the new Jay Leno show. Tonight is Michael Moore and Tom Cruise,    and Monday night was Kanye West. He said he was grieving over his mother and he took it out on Tayor Swift because he was missing her??? What a putz! Nobody takes responsibilty for themselves anymore. 

I said that to my daughter that he would use that excuse and sure enough        Tevye I'm glad you got the drain out. I use to be like that, fiesty and stubborn and it sounds like something I would have done. Somewhere along the way I lost myself and don't have any fight left at all. I'm glad you didn't and am still a fighter

I bought a Shark Steam Mop, as seen on tv.

And does it work?

Works fine, just make sure you have some of the extra cleaning pads cause it really picks up the dirt.

Gizzie I know Trimm has some good recipes and I was just back visiting my Grama and she made her famous meatballs and gravy - I always ask her for the recipe and mine never turn out the way hers do but here is her ingredients;

Ground Beef - not real lean - she used 6 pounds - so you may want to cut this in half
Chopped Onion - amount based on your preference
2 Eggs Beaten
Milk - 1-2 cups
3 Handfuls of Oatmeal
Salt and Pepper to taste

Mix together lightly - she says don't overmix - and the consistency should be rather moist so I guess that will determine how much milk to use........fry on stove till browned on all sides - add some beef broth and water to the pan to loosen all the yummies - add mushrooms and cream mushroom soup and then in the oven at 325 for half hour to 45 minutes. 

All I can say is it is a delish meal when she makes it - I hope this helps.   

Ohh, thanks so much Mission! My dad uses oatmeal in his salisburys, and I completely forgot about that! This sounds really good!

Sheriff Andy Taylor, a widow whose wife had died under mysterious circumstances, and his young illegitimate son Richie "Opie short for opium" Cunningham (Ron Howard) live, work and breed in the rural North Carolina town of Mayberry. He also had a black son, Demetrius, but he was rarely seen, and on the rare occasion he made an appearance, was passed off as Floyd's kid. Sheriff Taylor was also the town's justice of the peace, and as such dispensed summary judgments. Whenever the punishment was death, he played the executioner as well, proving that it's perfectly okay for one man to wield so much power with little or no oversight whatsoever. In Mayberry, it is said, absolute power does not corrupt absolutely, it just makes your loins tight.

The first episode begins with their family housekeeper getting married (by Andy, justice of the peace, priest, pastor and rabbi) and moving away. This sets up the arrival of Andy's Aunt "Bee" Beatrice (Frances Bavier) who moves in to help take care of young Opie. Opie soon learned that the music group "Queen" knew what they were talking about when they wrote the song "Fat Bottom Girls".
 
Life after The Andy Griffith Show proved hard for Opie. Opie is a precocious kid and amateur thug. Most episodes of The Andy Griffith Show started by showing him murder one or more of the residents of Mayberry. Later, when an innocent man is accused of the murder, Andy (defense attorney and professional detective) must find the real murderer before the end of the episode, so that he and Opie can go fishing during the closing credits. One of the more controversial episodes, "Fishing", simply had Andy (as cop, judge and executioner) find, try, and execute an innocent man during the opening credits, so that he and Opie could spend more time fishing because, as Opie said, "They're really bitin' today, Pop!".

Hey Tevye. I didn't know you were getting the drain out today. If I had known I would have told you to take a xanax or something. Glad you are becoming a good patient.

I didn't go in at all. Just called the payroll company, told them to give everyone 80 hours and I will fix it on the next payroll in two weeks. I couldn't crawl my way out of bed this morning until 9 because I took the magic cough medicine around 4 am.

Good girl! I'm glad you're home. Maybe since you're so sick, you could con Mom into making a food delivary? But I have to ask: if you don't have cable, how do you get all those old shows? Wish we lived closer, I'd "share".

And the drain removal only hurt (LIKE HELL) for about a minute. I suspect there's worse in my future, but at least that ugly thing is gone. Do you know how hard it is to accessorize a JP(?) drain??????
