I write mine on notebook paper and throw them in grandson's secret kitchen draw.We are going to copy them to cards and make his Mom a recipe box.   

This is really sweet Trimm, I wish my mom would have done stuff like this with my kids when they were younger! 

Northern and Mission, Meatballs were great! I kinda tweaked both recipes into one, and it worked out well! My son came in from school and said Oh no, meatballs!  I said But wait, it's not my recipe!  Thanks again!

Awww I m glad they worked out - between those 2 recipes you could not have gone wrong.

Ok time to hit the hay - I am in here talking to myself  but heck I talk to myself alot it works out well because sometimes I am the only one who listens  See everyone tomorrow.

Just to make the day complete, my daughter called to tell us her husband blacked out at work, and was taken to the hospital. They ran some tests, he has had seizures in the past, to find the kid blacked out from all the stress he is under. So now I'm waiting to hear what they are going to do with him for that. He is more of a basket case then me  he hasn't been sleeping or eating    With all the fiascos going on in our household my dad couldn't have picked a worse time to come visit, the stress level here is sky rocketting by the minute. Then there car needed some costly repairs, so my husband paid for it. I have flat out told both of my daughters, we help you through the year, and we just can't do a Christmas, your Christmas from us has been through the year with certain emergencies that we helped with. I need Valium Kitty 

When it rains it damn pours - No Rose I hope everything is going to be ok - You are so nice to help your daughter and her hubby out - you are a great mom.

Thank you for the update Teyve - your monkey friends care, we will be an army of strength for you during your treatment.  Your attitude is amazing but even on the down days lean on us we are here!  I will pray for you and for your curly strawberry blonde hair too. 

Thanks, Mission. If it does come back curly and strawberry blonde, I'm gonna go back to wearing it long. Last Jan I had my waist lenght blonde (mostly natural) cut to an angled bob. I love it, it makes me look younger...but hey, if I'm gonna get new hair, I'm gonna flaunt it!

Also thanks Trimm for the vids...I'm finally offa da phone, so I can watch them. I will not be eating while watching

"I think it's based on racism," Carter said in response to an audience question at a town hall held at his presidential center in Atlanta. "There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president."

In a yet another tortured explanation of what she knew, and when she knew it, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi now claims that she was “misled” by the CIA regarding the use of enhanced interrogation techniques.

One thing JSM has noticed and I don't know if anyone else has is the Monkey bike's tire is rolling clockwise so said monkey is riding backwards. ACORN shares the vision of the media and even with corrective glasses is still legally blind. Most ACORN members are left handed and also lean that way which makes them underhanded. Occasionally an ACORN paid volunteer will register a real voter because as Obama says "You can put lipstick on a blind hog but it can still find an ACORN sometimes." ACORN members could accidently register a real voter. Unlikely but it could happen.

The White House is collecting and storing comments and videos placed on its social-networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube without notifying or asking the consent of the site users, a failure that appears to run counter to President Obama's promise of a transparent government and his pledge to protect privacy on the Internet.

Marc Rotenberg, president of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, said the White House signaled that it would insist on open dealings with Internet users and, in fact, should feel obliged to disclose that it is collecting such information.

"The White House has not been adequately transparent, particularly on how it makes use of new social media techniques, such as this example," he said.
Defenders of the White House actions said the Presidential Records Act requires that the administration gather the information and that it was justified in taking the additional step of asking a private contractor to "crawl and archive" all such material. Nicholas Shapiro, a White House spokesman, declined to say when the practice began or how much the new contract would cost.

Susan Cooper, a spokeswoman for National Archives and Records Administration, said the presidential records law applies to "social media" and to public comments "received by the president or immediate staff."

Mr. Obama signed a memo in January stating that his efforts to maintain an open government would be "unprecedented" and "ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation and collaboration."

An Obama campaign document on technology pledged that, as president, Mr. Obama "will strengthen privacy protections for the digital age and will harness the power of technology to hold government and business accountable for violations of personal privacy."

In a June 5, 2008, article in PC Magazine, Mr. Obama said, "The open information platforms of the 21st century can also tempt institutions to violate the privacy of citizens. We need sensible safeguards that protect privacy in this dynamic new world."

The National Legal and Policy Center, a government ethics watchdog, said archiving the sites would have a "chilling effect" on Web site users who might wish to leave comments critical of the administration.

Good Morning. She basically called me a liar, and that I'm the only one complaining, which is a total lie. I talked to my neighbor last night who basically calls her all the time with complaints of all these kids here, and I'm going over to her house at 11 and she is going to call her with me there and ask her why she called me a liar when she is calling all the time. We also got another neighbor on board who is so disgusted. All we want is our neighborhood back and these kids under control, it is really bad. No other neighborhood around here is like this.
