Does anyone know why my avatar is blinking?  Does anyone know how to make it stop?  thanks.

It's not blinking for me either BABYBEAR. I have heard other monkeys complaining about it sometimes. Have you tried rebooting? Sometimes that cures all ills, I think.

Not blinking for me, Babybear.  Except for the magic wand.

I don't see blinking either.  I see tail wagging.

He - or used to be a he LOL.  His name is Fasa.  His brother was Simba.  Fasa was the bigger one so we called him fat cat when we got confused as they looked so much alike.  They were rescue cats and we could not seperate them so we took them both.  Simba died this spring suddenly.  Fasa has not been as active since his brother passed.

We have one male that has had his transmission removed. Pres is a sweet cat when he is inside. But he goes into almost ferral cat mode if he is outside. He is easily startled if you accidentally walk up on him while he is asleep outside. He will hiss, and jump over the fence. But when he is inside, he is a different cat. He loves to be petted and curls up on my son's bed with him. Dogs are not the only species who are weird. But I love them, and they give so much love back. All of our cats were thrown away.

I love it too!  I made your ribs for Labor Day and they were delish!!! Thanks again for that recipie, I'm not afraid of cooking ribs now!

Life's been busy with work.  (Bosses daughter on 3 week vacation ) Hey, I'm thankful I've got work.  Still starting school next semester and getting all that stuff lined up.  Is it still hot up there?  It's freezing here!  Time for some cocoa!

Really glad you like the rib recipe.  They are my favourite.  It is actually really warm right now but we are expecting a 10 - 15 degree drop in temp by noon tomorrow.  I think tonight was the last pool day .

I don't know.

They have been a blessing for us. We love each and every one, and I would take more if I could. They love us back, and they understand when something is wrong, and they try to comfort us. I will put up with the aggavation of fur and sneezing myself. I have never regretted one minute of bring them in. Well, maybe when they decide to have the "runs" at 3am and decide chasing each other across the beds is a good idea. I kept a water gun by my bed at one time, and stopped that in it's tracks.

my 3 also, well 2 were left with me to "watch" for awhile and the person never came back for them.

Bubba's best buddy is a "fixed" male.   Bubba grew up with him.  Bubba thinks he's a she.  We have to say she.  Even went to the vet and I said he.  Bubba says, but mom she a gwirl.  So I just say she.  It's easier than being corrected all the time.

Anyone else use Firefox?

By the way, I've got this dumb laptop and I can't stand it.  If I put things where they don't belong or have crazy spelling mistakes (more than normal)  I'm sorry.

Fall is beginning to show up here too. They have taken the chairs and umbrellas down at the pool across the street from us. I have to beg the lady in charge of our condo association to leave the chairs in the gazebo here. My hubby likes to walk, and he goes there to rest after his walks. Usually all of that kind of thing is put up on Labor Day. The leaves are begining to fade, and I somehow hate to see everything go dormant again. But, such is life, and I love the fall here.
