Speaking of prayers,please pray for my neighbor who lost her son.She hasn't been doing too well.Her hubby(the step dad) thinks she needs to snap out of it.    He actually packed a bag and threatened to leave.I want to kick his azz.
She is just surviving right now.   

I sure will    I've been told on numerous occasions to snap out of it while in a deep depression, if one could do that, there wouldn't be to much depression and anxiety in the world. That is a completely ignorant thing to say to someone when they are suffering like that 

No Rose, I have been told the same thing before while in deep depression. It is something that can't happen on your own. That's why I am now single and on my own because the person that tried so hard to tell me to snap out of it, really never cared to be bothered with the situation. He was happy go lucky, make lemonade out of lemons sort of guy. I wasn't so he kicked me to the curb. Not that I am sad, I have my life, my job, I have my family and I have my Josef and to me that is all that matters! I also think with him ragging on me for being depressed didn't help matters much either.

Oh well, I can skate now because of him and that is what I have always wanted to do and he is the reason it happened.

Your story isn't sappy, it is real. You started off skating because of him, but you were really skating because of you. It raised your self-esteem and you accomplished a goal for yourself. I am very proud of you.

  Thanks Fanny and all monkeys for the support I got during my competition. If it hadn't been for y'all I probably wouldn't have done it! Now I am looking forward to the Christmas thing, that may not happen, but I will go ahead and do one by myself as an exhibition. Maybe that one will get videoed correctly.

Time for magic cough medicine and I will see you monkeys in the morning. Later than usual as my boss told me to come in whenever I see fit. I thought that was really kind of him because I hate coming in late, but I just can't get through the medicine head until later in the morning.
