Why did Eastern State Hospital bring a group of 31 patients – including at least one with a violent criminal past – to the fair without notifying anyone of their presence? And why did it take Eastern staff two hours or more after Phillip A. Paul went missing to notify fair officials or police?
  Well I can tell you right now this was some liberal crackpots idea, rest assured, I better go check to see if my husband had any input on this bright idea

He told sheriff’s deputies investigating the case that voices in his head told him Mottley was a witch and ordered her death.    Well lets hope he didn't go in the fun house and freak out with all the mirrors

Did you hear about this mental patient who escaped,while on a day trip to the fair?He is criminally insane.Could be headed for Sunny Side Washington.
I think he is being treated for Schizphrenia.They said his meds would be wearing off.     I gotta go find an article.

Maybe a field trip to a fair is not the best idea    Wonder whose idea this was?

And at a field trip to the fair, how would you tell the difference between the criminally insane and the carnies???? Heck, he's probably operating the ferris wheel!

    He wanted me to go home yesterday, but I was busy. I will be in the cage much today and will leave early.

WASHINGTON -- Republicans are rejecting comparisons made by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who came near to tears Thursday when she compared anti-government rhetoric over President Obama's health care proposals to the debate over gay rights in 1970s San Francisco.

"I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw this myself in the late '70s in San Francisco," Pelosi told reporters, her voice catching in her throat at her weekly press briefing.

Without making an eponymous comparison, Pelosi was referring to the 1978 murders of Mayor George Moscone and city Supervisor Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist immortalized in a recent movie starring Sean Penn. Former San Francisco Supervisor Dan White was convicted in the case. He committed suicide in 1985.

At the time, gay rights activists and others said the assassinations were the result of the loud and sometimes violent debate over gay rights. Pelosi was chairwoman of the Democratic Party for northern California and friendly with Milk and Moscone.

Pelosi said Thursday that while she values free speech, a careful line must be tread between the First Amendment Right and regard for public safety.
