Chavez is threatening to shut down the last INDY station in the country.   

And Obama's "Media Diversity Czar" has publically admired Chavez's handling of the media in Venezuala and thinks that his takeover was a true "Democratic revolution." He said that the media in this country should be treated in the same way Chavez has done there.  There would be no need to close down the three networks, they are already in Obama's pocket.  It will be the cable networks which dare to question Obama's actions. Also, Obama wants the authority to close down the internet when he detects a threat to the nation.  That will effectively close down all opposition to him and his policies.

Thanks Northern Rose.   He is back home this morning.   He has to go back to the medical center in DC on Thursday to have his carotid artery worked on.   He's been through a lot.   Thanks everyone for the prayers and good thoughts.

Obama is stupid to drop the missle defence shield.

This is exactly what that idiot Carter did with Iran after having promising the Shah that he was behind him 1000%.  This missile defence was important to Poland and the Czechs. It was important in safeguarding the US.  Now, once again, an American president has gone back on the word of the United States of America.  Our word is not worth warm spit anymore because of left-leaning stupid Presidents who nobody will admit voting for. This man is not qualified to be President.  He has no experience in international relations whatsoever. He has no regard for the Constitution of the US nor any respect for the wishes of the American people. He aspires to be the equivalent of "Big Brother" in the book "1984." I expect that we will soon have billboards dotting the countryside with his larger-than-life picture and selections from his most left-wing admired statements sort of like Mao Tse Tung. 

The most inflamatory rhetoric I have heard has come from botox Pelosi herself, calling Americans who are legally and respectfully demostrating against the policies of the federal government, "Nazis"  and "Brownshirts."  The only examples I have heard of that come from her and Durban the Turban and others of their ilk.  They do not understand that they work for us at our pleasure and I sincerely hope that we as a people have had enough of them by the time the next election cycle comes around and we kick the scoundrels out.

I have now lost all respect I had for Bill Cosby.  He is a smart and well-educated man and he knows that he is lying when he says that the oposition to Obama is racially motivated.  I thought he was more intelligent that that old fool Jimmy Carter. In fact, Obama is exactly as much white as he is black.  I don't understand why black celebrities and others who are well known automatically jump to Obama's defense with a knee-jerk reaction solely because he's black and when racism has nothing to do with oposing his Socialist policies. In fact, I believe this defending of Obama no matter what is racially motivated. In my case, it has to do with what I, and many other Americans, perceive as hatred for traditional American principles and his desire to socialize the country.  He has taken over the banking industry and he is  now trying to set up a commission to regulate salaries in the banking industry.  He has taken over the auto industry to appease the Auto Workers union and he even demanded and got the resignation of the CEO of GM.  Only Ford resisted and they are doing very well now.  Now,  it's the health industry.  He will not stop until he has destroyed this country and our traditions.  We will become exactly like any other third world country.  Our prosperity will be a thing of the past.

I also believe that Barack Obama was elected largely through the efforts of that corrupt criminal enterprise, Acorn.  I believe they fraudulenty assisted people to vote for Obama by bribes and threats. I am not at all sure that he was even legitimately elected.

AMEN!!!! Plus he throws Poland under the bus in September 17th, the anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland. AZZHOLE!

I have got to scrub my steps before I can wash my screened in porch.All this dampness has them slick as owl chit.I look like I was trying to skate out there.Inevitably it's always me who falls.

Exactly, the taking down of the door and sanding it and painting, I really can't do, well I could but it would look horrible. Anything else I prefer to do myself and have it done right  I love it when they just sit and you are doing work, and a suggestion or two will be flung how to better do the job  Slick as owl chit, never heard that expression before, but love it
