We will have to watch and see what happens,cause they sure don't listen to us.

President Barack Obama on Wednesday night tried to portray health care reform – potentially the most sweeping overhaul to American society in some 40 years – as something as nonthreatening as buying auto insurance.

And a government takeover of health care? Hardly, said Obama. Only 5 percent of Americans would use the public option even if it existed.

But behind that rhetoric, Obama was laying out massive changes to the health insurance system that have raised concerns that one high-stakes speech to Congress seem unlikely to quiet – and highlighting divisions in his own party that seem certain to continue.

The Justice Department's Office of Professional Responsibility has begun an official inquiry into the dismissal in May of a civil complaint against the New Black Panther Party and two of its members who disrupted a Philadelphia polling place during the November general elections, the Washington Times reported.

The inquiry is disclosed in an Aug. 28 letter to Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, the ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee who first raised questions about the dismissal in May and asked unsuccessfully that Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. make available the head of the department's Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division for a closed-door briefing on the decision.

In the letter, Mary Patrice Brown, acting OPR counsel, told the veteran congressman from Texas that the office had "initiated an inquiry into the matter" and that it would "contact you with the results of our inquiry once it is completed." A copy of the letter was obtained by The Washington Times.

"I am pleased that someone at the Justice Department is finally taking the dismissal of the New Black Panther Party case seriously," Smith said Wednesday. "The Justice Department's decision to drop a case against political allies who allegedly intimidated voters on Election Day 2008 reeks of political interference."

Smith said the department's refusal to provide Congress with an explanation for the dismissal "only further raises concerns that political favoritism played a role in this case."

NRCG  Sorry to hear you still are having ant problems. We have had them bad this year because of so little rain. We put corn meal around the whole house. The ants carry it off to eat but their stomachs can't process it and they die. You don't have to worry about the other animals as it's safe. It seems to have worked for us they aren't coming in any more. Hope this helps. Heard it from some doctor on TV a while back. 

Thank-you never heard of that, I will get some at the store    Now my dad called and said I'm in the Green Bay Hospital I had a car accident, I said why in the he!! were you in Green Bay? He says I'm just kidding  I was backing out of the drive way and the brakes didn't work, and I landed in the neighbor's driveway across the street and his car stopped me. All I need is a new fender, and the car repair shop is looking over the car to see why the brakes failed. I have had it, from all the stress my irritable bowel has been acting up for days and I've been vomiting, I really don't appreciate calls like this, I'm mad  I can't even laugh anymore 

NRCG  I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. Have you ever ask your doctor for Lomatil for your IBS. It really does work well. Have had IBS for years and that's the only thing that ever has helped. I have no idea why the stress brings it on but it sure does. 

I may have been on that years ago, now I'm on Robinol. The doctor was going to put me on another, and he said I may have a hard time getting the prescription filled, he was right the pharmacy couldn't fill it, it is an older type of drug and the pharmacy told me the doctor's prefer the newer drugs  It sure does get bad with stress  and since I'm always stressed  Sometimes it gets out of control, I have had to be put in the hospital three times because of it, so I'm hoping not to see the hospital with it 

Donatol--old drug, works like a charm.  It is in pill form, too, the liquid is like a shot of alcohol, it can burn like that.
