I just went nuts in my backyard with chalk  My birdfeeder and wall where the bird feeder is has ants, ants galore, I chalked the wall so bad it looks like graffeti, let's see those little varmints cross the chalk line  Between Terminex and chalk something has to get rid of them, something, anything. 

Oh, a friend's mom swears by Gold Bond powder.

 

Well I'm going to run to the backyard with some of that in hand, I have plenty of that here, thanks, who would have figured that.

We have dental insurance, and this root canal was to cost 70 dollars, now 270 dollars later  they had to find something else while they were doing the root canal something about calcium

look on the bright side...as long as you have ants you don't have roaches!

No roaches but the ants are enough    Now I just had to bury one of my favorite birds that comes here to feed, a Morning Dove decided to attack him and kill him.......   I swear even the birds have gone crazy.

 

I am so sorry.  I thought doves were the olive branch type.

 

That's what my dad in Wisconsin keeps telling me, and I keep telling him that I have some mean ones that come here to feed. I just hate to see a bird dead, I have a special place where I bury them, I'm way to emotional for my own good.

  That's not good. I am amazed 70 dollars for a root canal. That is darn good dental insurance you have No Rose.

 DEVELOPING ...

Hours before President Obama was set to deliver a make-or-break speech on health care reform, a top Senate negotiator conceded the government-run insurance program so dear to the president's supporters cannot pass the Senate.

Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., who was trying to hammer out the details of a bipartisan compromise Wednesday with five other senators, announced that he would be moving ahead with or without Republican support.

But he made clear that the so-called "public option" would not be part of any deal with his name on it.

"The public option cannot pass the Senate," Baucus said

NRCG  Sorry to hear you still are having ant problems. We have had them bad this year because of so little rain. We put corn meal around the whole house. The ants carry it off to eat but their stomachs can't process it and they die. You don't have to worry about the other animals as it's safe. It seems to have worked for us they aren't coming in any more. Hope this helps. Heard it from some doctor on TV a while back.
