Oh my.  I need to send this picture to my hubby - he's trying to quit smoking today.
I need to quit also, but the pic didn't even phase me    Your kitties are adorable, and look like they all get along.

And now I just read they don't, what a terrible job of reporting. Logically it has to be someone who knows that lab quite well, a professor or a fellow lab student, or even a maintenance worker. But I think it was someone who had an obsession and jealousy issues with Annie. Dirty, dirty shame, yesterday should have been a thrilling day for her

Morning all.  Hope all had a great weekend.  Had to take little Ruby to the vet Friday afternoon for a bunch of shots, nail trimming and annual check-up.  Sure, she got treats from the vet, but was still mad.  As I was paying at the front desk, she took a dump in the recepetion area.  That's my girl.

This case really hits too close for me.  I posted my thoughts last night.  I think it is another researcher/student based on jealousy of not getting on the same project, or that Annie's team was close to a huge discovery.

No Rose CG, I just wanted you to know that I am not trying to push anything on you for your IBS.  I just could not stand to hear of anyone suffering from it and not getting relief.   As a child and teenager, I had it so bad that I would be bent up like a pretzel with the windows open and a fan on to try to stop the flow of sweat pouring off of me--and that was in the winter.

When I worked at the hospital, one of my friends asked what was wrong, I told her my IBS was acting up.  This was in ICU.  A doctor who overheard us asked who had IBS?  I said, I did, he said the only thing to do for IBS is to bend over and pray.  He also told me labor would be a breeze.

I was only trying to give you some relief and was not trying to force anything on you.  How well I remember the bad days.  I still get them, but now know what to take when it first starts.

I love Siamese. I had one we called Mini, as she was very petite. I have four cats as well, two tabby's and one tuxedo and one solid grey. I would love to have a dog, but we have enough fur flying as it is.  Monkey Devil!

I remember the pictures you posted of your cats.  They were beautiful.   I love cats and would have more but the vet told me that if you have more than 4 in one house, you have a greater chance of one of them refusing to use the litter box.   Can't have that!

Gizzie - my oldest daughter is allergic to cats and dogs so she has been going through allergy shots for a couple of years because she loves animals so much.  She has two Siamese cats of her own.   I like cats, but I don't think I would go through all that just to have one.

NoRose - my cats all get along great - but Rocky (the male and father of Cocoa) doesn't pay too much attention to Cocoa.   He acts like he wants nothing to do with her.   Isn't that funny?     He loves his two Queens, though.

Happy Birthday Fanny!

I remembered you said you like squirrels.

Oh gee! I just realized that this is not a squirrel    Hadn't had my 2nd coffee yet.

I love it anyhow, GIZZIE. I love all animals with the exception of racoons. Rocoons and me have a bad history!

What did they do, steal your Doritos when you were a kid?

I also had to take shots for animal dander for years. I finally got immuned to the dander, but still have problems occassionally. I never have built immunity for grass. I have to run in the house whenever they landscapers come to cut grass, and close all the windows.

Yes, I did.  I was concentrating on the wording and not the name.

Fixed it, thanks!

No, they were after my female inside/outside cat on night. I heard her scream. She was cowering at the back sliding glass door, and there were about 6 VERY large Rocoons surrounding her showing their teeth. I ran out with a broom barefooted in my nightgown screaming at them every breath and ran down the driveway after them like a crazed woman. When I came back toward my condo, I realized my neighbors were all out looking at me funny. I thought everyone here had heard the story.

Hope cat was okay.  Poor neighbors.  If I remember and if I still have it, I'll post a video of a racoon "attacking" me on the golf course in FL July '08.

I appreciate it very much. I've had it since a teenager, and then after my kids were born when they were toddlers, I was put on two medications, and since that was quite sometime ago, for the life of me I can't remember the names. I was at the doctor two months ago and he gave me a prescription for a drug that has been around for awhile, but told me it will be hard to fill, and he was right the pharmacist couldn't. But instead of saying give me the prescription back and I'll go elsewhere I didn't. So I'm going over and ask if they still have it, but I talk to her often so she will I'm sure remember the name, and then I'll call the doctor and have him write me another and I'll go to another pharmacy. I do take Robinol and it usually works, but at least twice a year I get a bout that just doesn't want to go away. Thank-you again. It's awful, I've been in a twisted pretzel position many times
