casa, VietVet said that he was a friend of Jugs and was in Aruba searching with them early on.

I've always kinda wondered, because if he is a VietVet, he is much older than Jug.

Well, goodness.  I have friends who are half my age.  I am sad now to think that a younger person would not want to be a friend or an associate of an older person. I always had older friends when I was young.  What's wrong with me?

My DH was 28 yrs old in 1975, which I believe was the end of the war.  If there were 18-19 year olds serving, then, they would be approx. 10 years younger than my DH.  And, you're right, Tylergal, age has nothing to do with friendship, and since I have younger & older friends, I am no different from you.  And there's nothing wrong.

Thought the vietnam war ended in'73....i'll check

sorry you're right it was '75

American troups left Viet Nam in 1973

Well, actually I sold a house to a helicopter pilot in 1975 who was released from the military on his return from Vietnam to Fort Rucker, but got a job in the Fort Rucker area and bought a house from us that we had been renting.

[OK, never mind.  I posted before I finished reading.  Will go back to reading and keep questions for when I have finished.  Sorry

Hi, Jobie,
I was sort of disappointed that there was no real news today either as we were sort of told there might be.

As always, maybe tomorrow??

And none of us should get really upset about anything until we know for a fact what happened.  But just reading or thinking about some stuff gets one really steamed even if we don't know if it is true or not.  Just the thought of it makes us mad.  Don't even have to believe it, just thinking about it sets me off sometimes.
