I may be reading this wrong........ but, I think the "elimination prints" are maybe the samples obtain from the Ants so that if any prints were found on evidence they could compare them for purpose of elimination?

Does that make sense?

Casey's back does show a lot of some kind of irritation.  I wonder what it looked like when she was first arrested.  It must have been worse because she did spend most of the time on her back......

Casey Anthony: Tattoo, duct tape draw reporters' scrutiny

A tattoo and duct tape were the headlines, according to noon newscasts, from the 1,400 pages released today by the state in the Casey Anthony case. She is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.

WFTV-Channel 9 said the documents confirmed its report that the duct on the child's remains had a unique marking similar to duct tape the family used to post missing posters.

The badly deteriorating duct tape found with the child is similar to tape found on a gas can in the Anthony family, Kathi Belich noted.

"Three pieces [of duct tape], all connected to the Anthony family, which show the same distinct markings,"  Belich said.

WESH-Channel 2's Bob Kealing also concentrated the oval Henkel brand marking found on the duct tape with the remains and on a gas can from the home. "According to prosecutors, this tape has not been sold anywhere since 2007," Kealing said. "Casey's defense pointed out that the fibers from the tape on the can and the crime scene do not match."


Kealing highlighted that the FBI lab reports said there were no fingerprints on the three pieces of duct tape on Caylee's skull.

He also studied photos of the "Bella Vita" tattoo on Casey's back. Anthony got the tattoo about two weeks before she revealed to her parents that Caylee was missing, Kealing said.

Belich said of the tattoo: "The tattoo artist told investigators when he asked Casey where Caylee was, she said Caylee was fine and with a sitter, and that she'd bring Caylee back with her when she returned soon to get another tattoo," Belich said. "But investigators say she had already killed Caylee and for some reason got this tattoo, which means beautiful life in Italian."

Belich said she found several references in the documents to the heart-shaped residue on the duct tape over Caylee's mouth.

But WKMG-Channel 6's Tony Pipitone said the outline of the heart was not in the photo. Pipitone noted that an FBI analyst saw the outline but says she destroyed it when testing for fingerprints. 

Pipitone looked at photos of the tattoo, photos of the duct tape and photos of a shovel that Anthony borrowed from a neighbor two days after the little girl was last seen alive. The FBI found nothing of interest on the shovel, Pipitone said.

"There's still hundreds of pages for me to go through, and we'll have any significant developments for you later," Pipitone said.

Anchor Erick Weber said, "Ok, Tony, another big glob of stuff to go through, hundreds of pages. So get to it."

I doubt any reporter needed to be told that today.

 Many words will be spoken today about the latest document release in the Casey Anthony case.

None will have the power of the photograph of her back.

This is an image that was never meant for HD television.

But the picture may have great value as a deterrent to going to jail. Being locked up can really mess up your skin. Forget the Bella Vita tattoo. Look at the disgusting skin. It's like something out of a horror movie.

What happened? Stress? A bad diet? Lack of sunshine?

You don't want to be in jail or this could happen to you. So much for Bella Vita. 


It may be lack of friction on the sheets since her vigorous exercise routine has taken a powder.
A good exfoliant would do wonders.

What the heck are those marks all over her bacK? I would have said rug burns from doing it on the floor, but those would have healed by now. I don't think it is back acne either. Any dermatologists here?

this woman is really messed up. look where she is today..i would not want to see my daughter in this situation, let alone losing my grandaughter..I cant imagine how cold she had to be to get this done while her daughter is missing..she knows..but she is a liar, and it is not in her nature to tell the truth..regardless how caylee died, and i beleive the family knows the truth too...such a crasy family..protecting thier daughter at this point, is disrespecting thier dead grandaughter..who had a right to live...

i beleive they found the grandaughter in the car..had a confrontation, cried, and then decided to help casey to get out of the situation, by lying ,staging, and calling the police after they all agreed on a story..just a bunch of nuts..poor Caylee never had a chance..she became a pawn..now an angel, safe...

The images were part of hundreds of new pages of evidence the Florida state Attorney’s Office released Friday.

The tattoo, located on Casey’s left shoulder blade, contains the phrase “Bella Vita,” which means “beautiful life,” written in script.

Authorities took the photo in August after discovering that Casey got the tattoo July 2, 2008, about two weeks after 2-year-old Caylee was last seen alive.

Also released Friday were a number of new pictures of both Casey and Caylee Anthony, along with a shovel Casey borrowed from a neighbor, and duct tape found at the crime scene where Caylee’s body was found in December.

The documents come days after a new hearing in the case was scheduled for Oct. 16 to consider five different motions:

Did anyone else see where George changed his story about the garbage in the trunk?

The FBI notes say he changed his story from it being in the trunk, to saying it was in the body of the vehicle?

How the Eff does that work when it was removed from the garbage dumpster at Johnson's and never in his posession again???
