I didn't get to watch the Caylee special last night.  Was it worth watching?  Can you tell me in a nutshell what has been going on with her case?  Is there a trial date in the near future?  I need to get back over there and start reading - I have tried a few times but feel lost.

There's been a huge doc dump and I haven't read through all of it, but George's depo is a worthy read. Yes, I'd say the show is worth watching, but it's slanted toward the Ants, IMO. You can see it on the CBS websight. Mtmom posted a link on Caylee's thread last night shortly after 11:00pm. Basically, the defense team is saying the FBI contaminated the duct tape so there is no ground to say Caylee was murdered by Casey and since there is some unidentified DNA on the tape it shows there was a "stranger" responsible.

  Anyone more strange than Casey would be scarey, now wouldn't they?

We bought another pumpkin today, the funny thing is daughter will not carve it because of the gooey stuff inside.  Ever since she was little she wouldn't stick her hand in there for nothing. 

Guess who gets to carve the pumpkins every year?

Monks, many of you know we have a wonderful vacation on Captiva island. But did you know we took a day trip to Naples?  Yeppers and my husband drove me by a certain address ....a rather ordinary, not particularly well kept place, in what I would call a not so great neighborhood and ALAS no swimming pool  and no expensive cars...not even in the area. We learned Naples has it really rally nice places and it uhhhhhhh not so nice places. I wanted to leae a card that said SUNNY WAS HERE!  But husband is a killjoy and threatened to leave me there if I did!  No way did I wanna be stuck in that ho hum area.....we hadn't been shopping yet!  

 

I hope you wore your finest sweats for the occasion.

OMG!!! I'm heading there now!! Thank you up there Bearly!! My Mom made me a caramel cake & it's almost gone. I almost made myself sick on it last night; got a little carried away!!  I started to have just cake for supper, but hubby & I worked in the yard all day & didn't eat so that wasn't a great idea! But I sure did have a big dessert!!!

Hello, how was your weekend.  Is your front porch decorated yet?

No! It's been really cold and rainy, and I got busy elsewhere today. I need to finish it! How about you? Are you decorated? How was the pumpkin patch? Did you see Snoopy and Charlie Brown?

We are as decorated as it's going to get.  We had a blast at the pumpkin patch.   

So how many did you cart home?

I made some apple cider today with whole cinnamon sticks and cloves and orange slices, and Ohhhhhhhh the house smells SO good!

Tomorrow night I promised gs we would make a haunted house - it's like the gingerbread house kits you can buy.  I'm sure we will have tons of fun with the frosting, it has a way of multiplying.

We have done them,  they are fun.
