Good Morning  Miss Bearly

Hope you are feeling better today.

Another week or so.

I was allergic/sensitive to the medicine they started me on weeks ago.  It should be out of my system by then!

For now I look like a lobster and feel like I have a very bad sunburn all over my body, on the roof of my mouth, and on my lips.   My ears are ringing so loudly I keep answering the phone and the door and no one is there.  Well, at least they are not at the door, someone may be on the phone when I answer it, but if they are, they are ringing a loud bell.

I have been telling people I died my skin for the World Series!

Oh, that sounds awful.  Sorry you've been soooo sick.
You may have acquired ringing, but you sure haven't lost your great wit!

I agree.  Bearlyhere seems to pick up steam no matter what's going on.  I'm glad she's on the mend.  I had a reaction to amoxycillin near the end of the prescription dosage...maybe 3 pills left.  I looked like a globe with all the large, raised hives all over.  It took a few weeks for it to subside.  Not fun.

Oh, did you have to say picking up steam?  I feel like I am in a lobster pot.

Oh that's terrible.  You must be very careful not to take that in the future.
When my son was 6 months old and hospitalized for asthma, he was given penicillin.  He reacted just hours after he was released from hospital.  To make a long scary story short, we rushed him back to the hospital where they gave him an antidote - his lips were blue - we almost lost him.  We were told penicillin or a derivative would kill him.  Hence years of nagging
to ensure he wore medical alert bracelet.

Oh, that must have been so scary.

This is so disheartening.  It just keeps getting worse.

Thank God we have SM where we can all hold each other up when the world comes tumbling down.

I'm sending this appeal for  Christmas cards for Noah on to my family and friends and I'm putting a card in the mail for Noah this morning.  It's such a small and easy thing to do, but with everyone pitching in, he should get a mountain of cards.

Here is another story about it for you guys. I will admit, I was a bit skeptical since that is a common "farce" but this one is true - and taking place not far from me!

Good morning theboyzmom  sunny  Thank you for posting an additional article about Noah.  I know what you mean about initially wondering  if this was another scam/hoax, because I too wondered and  I checked out snopes.com when I first saw it and they say it's "true".  I hope Noah gets a huge mountain of Christmas cards  an angelic monkey

Hey everyone!!
Taking a break from house cleaning to post this little tidbit; I heard on my police scanner just now(it's on all the time    ) that an Emu is on the loose on a local highway bypass!!!!  There is an 80 acre Emu farm nearby but you never hear of them being on the highway!!! I hope they catch him before he runs in front of a car!!! They can run 30 miles an hour, i would love to see the chase!!    Here's some info on the farm!! Love you all

Bamboo Emu Farm
3280 Lakeview Golf Course Road
Meridian, MS 39301
601-693-1108

Wonderful 80 acre farm that features a scenic 7 acre lake as well as numerous emus, big and gentle birds that grow up to six feet tall and run 30 miles per hour. You can watch the emus grow from egg to adult at this "farm to finish" farm or shop for emu leather, decorative eggs, body
