We're going to have to start leaving gingerbread crumbs for her to follow so she doesn't get lost.   

We would go back and eat the crumbs.

 

And end up nose to nose with a bear!

OMG did any of you see Southern Calif is on fire again?  This time its only about 10 miles from my oldest sons place. It went up the mountain and didn't cross the highway. 

  

They have evacuated the whole community of Wright Wood. In about an 1/2 hour it brunt over a 1000 acres.

Have you spoken with him, GE?

Yes tonight. He said it went straight up the mountain. Which is good for them, no Santa Anna winds but hot and dry.

There were a few around for almost a week, one was spotted out during the day.

We kind a made some witches fingers.  They ended up looking like green flat feet. I had my sugar cookie recipes out and we made up a batch colored it made the toes and baked them. When he opened the oven they were flat flat. We looked at each other and started laughing. I had used a darn drop cookie recipe. I told him I would make the right dough up tommorrow and he could make them after school.

You did it.  You invented the Frankenstein's Foot Recipe!

Just for the record, that DOES NOT look like the State of Tennessee, where I live, OR the State of Virginia, where I work!

Woman seriously injured after attack by 5 raccoons

Polk County Animal Control is warning Lakeland residents to be on the lookout for raccoons after a 74-year-old woman was mauled by several of the animals Saturday night, the sheriff's office said.

Gretchen Witted of Waterford Drive in Lakeland suffered severe injuries after being attacked by five raccoons yesterday.

Polk authorities are currently looking for the raccoons. Meanwhile, automated phone calls and alerts have been sent to residents in neighborhoods around where the attack occurred.

What a horrible thing to happen to this woman.  I hope she will recover quickly.

Wth are they going to do round up a bunch of raccoons and have a lineup? 

How will they know if they got the right raccoons?

GEEZ!! I hope she will be alright!

I wish the story had more details! I wonder if she was feeding them or if they just caught her outside and attacked?

They didn't say  why they attacked her. But it's not all that far from my MIL.
