That's the part I hated about school.

I can get on a soapbox about homework! The kids spend enough time in school, IMO! When they get home, they should be HOME!

Of course, school isn't so much only about schoolwork either, and IMO, it should be. I was happy to raise my child myself, thank you very much, and would prefer to be the parent instead of government mandates, but that's just my own opinion.

We went looking for my Halloween decorations. Could amly find one tube. So I let them hang the window lights. And one of those witches that are flat to look like she ran into the door. But it had to be put together. Lets just sat I walked away and let them figure the sucker out.

You and me both CBB. They need to be able to run and play or relax. Instead of doing work they should have had in school.
