Hi CBB !  LOL, I know grandmas talking about their grandkids are boring, but this reminded me of my granddaughter.  Every time I give someone else a kiss, she always makes me give her one too.

Now could you please take a road trip & come bake cookies with her, I'm a terrible cook.  And trying to bake sweets with a hyper child   

Good idea.  They go into overdrive from the sweets and then they conk out!

I discovered a new product! Have you ever heard of "Nutella"?

Giadia deLaurentis (sp) on Food Network talks about that all the time & I've seen a commercial for it just lately.   What part of the grocery store was it in, please ?

I do believe I've been M&M'd by a box of Whopper milk chocolate malt balls!   Tasted more like moth balls ....  but I ate em anyway   

Oh, Bud's! That's the kind of thing that can be the gift that keeps on giving, if you know what I mean!

It hasn't gotten above 64 all week end and rain cloudy. Got two sick gk. No cookies yet, but since there is no school here tomorrow maybe if everyone gets to feeling better.

Giadia deLaurentis (sp) on Food Network talks about that all the time & I've seen a commercial for it just lately.   What part of the grocery store was it in, please ?

That's where I heard of it too, Bud's! It's with the peanut butter. I haven't found the right combination to eat it with yet......... give me time!!

Thank you all for all your suggestions about the dang cookies. I went looking on line yesterday for recipes for the witches fingers. The one I had used regular sugar and baking soda. The ones I found on line used powered sugar, baking powder and more flour. Lower temps to cook and longer. Go figure. Hopefully they will work this time.

Well then tell her to take a look in here and prepare to be smothered!   

 

She looks at all the avis when she's with me - and she luuvvs Betty Boop.  She wanted to decorate her bedroom at my house with BB, so one Christmas to start her a collection, I bought her a throw rug with a Western Betty Boop in jeans & circling a lariat, very hawt ... her dad took one look at the rug & went     So we had to switch to a horse theme   

   

Dads and their daughters.   

She will still have the horse theme when she is away at college.

It's freezing here!   Right now it's around 28 - 30 degrees.

   Are you kidding me?  Egads! It gets cold there quickly, doesn't it?

The peak color won't get here until the first of November, and it's staying around 65-70 during the day!

When Grandma's friends come over or when they see other women, they will tell them Grandma can get those wrinkles out for them.

Something about spreading black stuff on bread just doesn't whet my appetite...........   

But it tastes good! Something salty might be good! Maybe a triscuit?
