I am familiar with the laws here when persons are married. I never knew about what happens when there is no separation or divorce until
the Haleigh case. And I too have a daughter who was married to someone who I loved as a son. Now he is a son of a b. I could go on and on. Things are ok now ( not with the son of a b.because he screwed me over too ).

Write your blog. Someone will benefit from it. I think it comes down to knowing the laws and getting legal advice before a split is made. These break ups don't happen where one day it is good, the next day all heck breaks loose. My family experience is that it doesn't come down to the best interest of the kid it comes down to money ( child support ). Throw a new love interest in and Gasp ! real bad chit happens. And the kid pays. And the Grandparents in alot of cases. Here, they are talking, no legislation yet about GP's right to visitation etc. no matter who is married to who or what, the relationship with the GP's is constant. I haven't thought about this for two to three years, but man, what a mess the entire bunch was in. I used to think I had PTSD from all of the drama. I know what it is like to not sleep worrying about the gd. It is a horrid place to be in.

Regular flu or swine flu?  I use to get regular one every year in Calif. never had any problems.

I have been getting the regular flu shot for about the last 10 years.  Since I've been getting the flu shot I've only gotten the flu once and I've not had pneumonia either.  Now I'm getting the flu shot and I had a pneumonia shot last year too.  I have never gotten sick from the regular flu shot.  I don't know much about the swine flu shots but if available, I will likely get that too.

Do you have to get the pneumonia shot every year? I had my first one last year.
