Good Afternoon Monks!!   nrcg... This is one of the best statements I  have read!  These folks are all nuts.  IMO I don't believe anything that anyone says coming from there. Perhaps it's the water or  inbreeding

Cobra seems to have taken on an LP persona

LE must have thought the tip or whatever was pretty credible to spend all that time, manpower and money to drain and search that pond.

I can only imagine what all the rumors and speculations plus the lack of information from LE, must be like for those that REALLY love Haleigh.

Agree.  Hubby had to have a pond drained on a military base when he was the CO - and it was very costly.  Took 2 days and many manhours.    Unfortunately, a little boy drowned in the pond he had drained.    LE wouldn't go through all that without good info.  JMO.

It is mho that the panelists on Blogger Talk Radio are flying by the seat of their pants at times.  While listening to what they were stating, I realized that they either knew more than what is being reported in the news or they had not taking the time to read what is being reported in the news and by reporters that are there at the scene. I listen to Blog Talk Radio in order to see if I can gain just a tad bit of info out of all the salacious crap that is uttered by some of the panelist.

The following is what was reported in this morning's news articles regarding the search of the pond.

No one was out at the site searching Saturday. At this time, there is no word on when they will arrive or when they will stop pumping out water, but we can tell you that there are many rumors going on about this search, however, the sheriff's office wants to put out there they have not found a body.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Dive crews in Putnam County are scheduled continue to search a lake for evidence in the Haleigh Cummings case, Sunday.

According to Putnam County officials, the search was prompted by over 4,000 tips they have received in the case. A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office confirmed they have received information that there may be evidence located in the lake south of Palatka, but will not say what the evidence might be or if anything has been recovered.

They plan to continue to lower the lake level Sunday.

If Cobra is telling the truth  and a green Oldsmobile was taken out of the pond, and belongs to a major player, who in the world would it be? Nay Nay I think had a blue car, but don't know what kind. Hank Sr got into a car accident right before Haleigh went missing, wonder what kind of car he had? This just doesn't make sense.  I didn't realize Tommy was taken to the pond the other day  I don't remember reading that, so he sure has he!! told LE something

WESH 2 Caller Says Crews Searching In Mondex Subdivision

PALATKA, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said it received information over the weekend that there is possible physical evidence in the Haleigh Cummings investigation located in a large pond south of Palatka.

A WESH 2 caller said crews were searching in an undeveloped subdivision in Putnam County called Mondex on Saturday and Sunday.

"It's a place back in here in the ponds that (are) further on down, where they go to have their fun in the mud holes, but very few people come back in here on the north end of the Mondex," said Putnam County resident Ronald Charles Ussery.

Locals said it wouldn't be a shock if Haleigh's body was found in the area.

"I wouldn't be surprised, because there are so many rumors that she's out here," said Putnam County resident Brooke Owens. "We've been hearing so much, so I wouldn't be surprised."

PCSO Lt. Johnny Greenwood said Saturday that Sheriff Jeff Hardy wanted to quell any rumors that Haleigh's body had been recovered. He also said that the PCSO has received numerous calls regarding a search currently being conducted south of Palatka.

"It has been our position that we will not discuss operations or searches prior to their completion," Greenwood said.

Saturday's search is the result of one of more than 4,000 tips received in this case, Greenwood said.

Divers from the PCSO, St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and Clay County Sheriff's Office conducted underwater searches in the area. In an attempt to assist the divers, the decision was made to lower the water level in the pond to reduce the search area, Greenwood said.
It could take some time for the pumps to keep working and the water to recede. That will help searchers look for evidence and possibly find out what happened to Haleigh.

The brother of the missing girl's baby sitter spoke with investigators this week after being arrested on a grand theft charge. Although the sheriff's office said it wasn't related to Haleigh's disappearance, Hank Croslin agreed to be questioned about that case. Authorities said three other inmates also were questioned.

Greenwood said, although coincidental, the recent interviews did not provide the information which led to the search. However, he would not release any details about the interviews.

"Although we continue to interview people in this case every single day, there have been no significant developments to report," Greenwood said.

Croslin's sister, Misty, was baby-sitting Haleigh when the girl vanished from her father's mobile home in February.

Haleigh's paternal great-grandmother said the police department hasn't been very forthcoming with information on its investigation.
"We want Haleigh home, we want Haleigh found, and we would appreciate the sheriff's department doing whatever they can and whatever they have done," said Haleigh's paternal great-grandmother Annette Sykes. "But the fact of the matter is we don't know anything that they've done because they haven't bothered to tell us. All we get is they are following leads. Well, they've been following leads since the day they she was gone. What does that mean?"

Sykes said she knew nothing about this weekend's search.

"Well, I'm following leads, and that's exactly what I did yesterday when I went down there -- I followed a lead," she said.

Divers Search Lake In Haleigh Cummings Case

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Dive crews in Putnam County wrapped up their search of a lake in the Haleigh Cummings case, Sunday.

Authorities spent 20 hours draining the lake, and search dogs walked along the muddy bottom looking for evidence.

But investigators won't say if they found anything related to the disappearance of five year-old Haleigh Cummings.

According to Putnam County officials, the search was prompted by over 4,000 tips they have received in the case.

Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her home in Satsuma in February.

Thursday night, authorities questioned Hank Croslin Jr., who was arrested on unrelated charges, but officials say that interview did not provide any information related to the search.

Hank Croslin Jr. is the brother of Misty Croslin-Cummings. Misty Croslin-Cummings is Haleigh’s stepmother and the last person to see her alive.
