Sorry, I agree with LCSO in a lot of things, especially how NG and others have seemed to portray that NayNay said there WAS a party, Haleigh died, etc.  It was not HER who said that.  She wrote that LE told her that JoeP swore an affidavit to that!  I wish media would be clearer on that point!

However, the way LCSO parses its words drives me crazy!!!   Like "the pond was drained before the letter".  Well, sure, the pond was drained because of JoeP's affidavit (MOO).  "No evidence" obtained from pond drain.  Yeah, but how about in the surrounding area?  Come on ... give us some credit here LE. 

Now it also appears that they are seriously putting the lady in blue scrubs in danger!  (Which may or may not be justified depending upon what she wrote!)  Has LCSO actually put out a press release or done a press conference requesting that this lady come forward? 

So frustrating!

Well, imho, outsiders are still in the mix, Cobra, AH, etc., possibly hindering the case.

I can understand LE's position on this.

Are some in the media interested in finding HaLeigh or just being the first to have an exclusive or just being involved period.

Are they advancing solving the case or a hindrance in getting the case solved.

Heart .. yes, your points are very good ones.  But, I like that LE has to operate under the watchful eye of the press.  I hope it also keeps the case moving and may provide the final clue that puts this puzzle together.  I do feel that the press seems to get the details wrong and usually goes with the most explosive headlines.  Seems like if the press would be more accurate then maybe LE with trust them more with updates on the case.  All of it's frustrating!

Maybe the lady who dropped off the letter did not trust PCSD to take her info seriously. Maybe she had contacted PCSD before with no action. It was addressed to specific reporter. She might have trusted the reporter more than the popo.
Do we know what Nay Nay's Mumma looks like ? Her first name is Diane, don't know if she goes by Prevatt. I looked at Art's site last night. And, on the Friday before, when Ron and Misty had a fight ( lots of those in this story),Ron showed up x 3 at Mumma Prevatt's house looking for Misty who was sleeping. I guess the Mumma wouldn't let him in, he got pizzled ( lots of that in this story ) and he came back and dumped Misty's clothes off.

I don't believe she's wearing a wig at all.  She is a taller, stocky built woman with long bleached blonde hair that is thin.  She is wearing it in a ponytail. 

(keep in mind I'm barely 5'0" so everyone is tall to me  )

Klaas, I was wondering about height too.  Was looking at the receptionist's chair.  Don't know if it's camera angle, but she's looks pretty  "sunken" behind that counter.  The scrub lady seems to have the counter hit her at armpit height.  So, what'da'ya think?

I found that the average dining room chair seat is 16-18 inches from the floor by furniture standards.
