Good Afternoon Monkeys and Guest!

And why would the news paper think that they should be the ones to share the letter with Ron...other than to give him the chance to cover his own sorry azz.

Prior said she was probably in the newspaper building 10 seconds and probably didn't realize she was caught on camera dropping off the envelope. When he opened it and read the letter, Prior said he thought "It's pretty amazing"

He contacted his boss, made a copy of the letter and also contacted the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Prior said he also shared the letter with lawyers for Ronald Cummings, Haleigh's father. Together, they went to deliver the letter to the Putnam County officials.

This is the part I thought was breaking news.  Does this mean it's exculpatory to Ron?  No, maybe not, but certainly interesting!

I had not heard he shared it with Ron's lawyer.  Now that is interesting.

So it makes me wonder if they gave it to Ron's attorney first it must not say anthing about Ron in it?  Wouldn't you think the man would take it to PCSO only if it made a statement involving Ron in the disappearance?

Not necessarily, IMO.  Maybe Prior was initially thinking of publishing it and wanted to get the lawyer's reaction to claims made in it.   Lawyer would also be duty bound as an officer of the court to turn in any evidence that he becomes aware of.

He contacted his boss, copied it & contacted the Sheriff's office.  But did he contact the Sheriff's office before or after sharing it with Ron's attorney?  Why did the attorney go with him to deliver the letter?

(I sure hope, whatever is in the letter, is not a hoax & leads to Haleigh being found.)

Good afternoon Monkeys!  There is no way I can catch up on all the posts I've missed.   an angelic monkey

Maybe the "scrubs woman" dropped her tip off at the newspaper office because she knew it
would get attention there.
If she gave the tip to PCSO it would probably just get swept under the rug.

Ok after watching that I really REALLY wanna know what's in that letter.

Something bout initials at the bottom of the paragraph.  Sure kind of looks like a man with a padded bra...just my opinion. Still hazy video.

Hey u guys I am letting u know that I am talking to crystal. Give me a few questions to ask her

Ask her if she think Teresa Neves is covering for Ron in some capacity? TIA

The underlying motive that Teresa Neves is covering for Misty could imply that Ron is involved to some capacity in the coverup behind the disappearance of his daughter ... the coverup to protect Misty from being implicated.

The following words coming from Haleigh's grandmother is unbelieveable when you consider Misty's changing stories, failed polygraphs, drug activity, etc.

HALEIGH should be Grandma's focus.  ANY forthcoming information pertaining to the evening her Granddaught went missing should not be disregarded until checked out.

Janet

NANCY GRACE - SEPTEMBER 21, 2009

NANCY GRACE, HOST: Ms. Neves, all along you have stated that you believed Misty Croslin. Now that you hear this, what do you think?

TERESA NEVES, HALEIGH`S PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER:  I`m going to tell you, Miss Nancy, I have stated all along and I will continue to state that my grandchildren love Misty and that Misty loved my grandchildren. And this statement by Tommy Croslin to me doesn`t hold any water.

Hi Magnolia! I wondered if she dropped it off to the newspaper because wanted the information out, but hoped it would be more likely she could remain "uninvolved" than if she gave it to LE.

Just thinking out loud here, but is it just coincidence that this "mystery letter" gets dropped off after Misty is safely out of town?

I've been thinking about the pictures of TN's on NG last night and how that may coincide with the "vacay" that Misty and/or Ron are taking (supposedly).  TN said her boyfriend paid for Misty to go to Orlando.  I'm wondering if the sale of the pictures (if money was given) may have paid for this trip.  It could be that perhaps they know it's all about to be over and this is TN's gift to her son.  It's odd that the mysterious letter shows up while Misty is out of town and somehow Ron's attorney got to see the contents before it was given to LE.  Why would the paper show it to Ron's attorney?

If it was favorable to Ron, then I guess the guy was wanting Ron to know that potential exculpatory evidence existed.
If it was a tip for an "alive" Haleigh, I can see why he would show Ron.  He would want something to write about later, he's a journalist after all and would want to write about Ron's reaction.
If it was not favorable to Ron, why would he show it to his attorney?  Isn't that hindering the investigation?  Would that be giving Ron's attorney a "one up" on LE?

I'm just hoping this is a valid lead/letter and not the battle going on between Picazio/Cobra/Holsmeth/Griffis/Sheffield/And the State's Attorney.  Long story short - has to do with Cobra thinking that the Griffis are hiding Haleigh.  The post that Heart did yesterday from Somon Barret at BloggerNews kinda hints at it when he was referring to someone in the court system and according to Cobra - Griffis/Sheffield family has a history of baby hiding and Picazio was in tight with someone who has been removed from the investigation into Haleigh Missing because she supposedly showed evidence to Kim Pacazio and the State's Attorney is now involved in the trial of Cobra.  Anyway.

I just hope and pray that it has nothing to do with this.  I mean geeze what a mess if it does.  Another run around at the expense of this little girl by a bunch of power grabbing POS.  JMO

Maybe so, CBB.  It would have never occurred to me that they had camera's in that lobby before seeing the pictures.
Now.....yes, of course.
I do think she wants to remain unknown.  They put all of the people in jail who say anything.

Well, guess we should email this Prior guy and see if he'll at least publish why Ron and Ron's attorney got to see the letter!
