JSM'S BEGGING FOR BANNING THREAD # 5

Its been a pretty day here, but cooler. We have been outside picking the last of the tomatoes and then pulling up the plants. They have gotten scaggly, and too many tomatoes are ending up on the ground and getting rotten on one side. So now we have a counter full of green tomatoes. Most will go ahead and ripen there, some will get fried.

Our sunflowers are down too. I read on the seed package and realized it was a hybrid for flowers, instead of for seeds. All the seeds were empty, and the heads started to rot and cause fruit flies. They were pretty flowers, but I will be more careful when I pick the seeds for them next time.

I have been hopping around the threads, mostly lurking. 

NOROSE, what are you having bad thoughts about? I hope it is just the threads, and not something going on with you. 

Yeah Fanny I think the flower season is over - I watered yesterday it is pouring rain here and windy as all get out as well it is coooooled way down I will have to strip them naked this week.  I am glad to know about the sunflower seeds - wow - I love the flowers they produce and have wanted to add some to an area in our yard but would definitely want the seeds - I will remember what you said.  Thanks for the info.

We just got a high wind warning here for tomorrow. It was the same kind of warning we got right before the big windstorm last year. They promised it wouldn't be as bad this time, but I have my doubts.... Glad we got some of the dead stuff down today in the garden. 

Well if you get what we are getting right now be sure to hang on to your Fanny if you go outside

OMG,    My downstairs neighbor just came up to tell me she was out last night and was slipped a  roofie? at a club. She was robbed and raped. She just got back home. She is all tore up from concrete cuts and has broken ribs. Please pray for her. She is very sweet and kind to me and Josef. TIA JSM 

Oh mercy! I am glad my clubbing days are behind me. And I will pray for her! 

Thanks Fanny for the prayers. I think her clubbing days are behind her as well. She just got back from Parkland this evening. She is so scared beyond belief. She has a friend coming to stay with her tonight. I feel so sad for her.

Gizzie, hugs. I left home for a boy one time, took a while, but came back home to my mama.

Her brother is happy as he is getting her room now. He's always gotten stuck with the small room, and always thought it wasn't fair. He keeps telling me to stop trying to make her feel bad so she won't change her mind. He really wants that room! 

When she comes back like I did, give her the little room. That's what my parents did. 

Yup! She knows that. She tried the "but my bed won't fit in that room"...Guess she'll be needing a smaller bed. 

Gizzie my daughter moved out to go to college 30 miles away and as you know I was so depressed - but she did move back home once for 3 months so be sure to keep a room for her - funny but she couldnt understand why I had taken over her room (imagine that) and I had to rearrange again for her to come home - then she moved out again with her now fiance and I was sad yet happy about getting her room back - I tell ya it is bittersweet but the good thing is she is still close and she will appreciate her mom and her home all the more being on her own.

OMG did they catch the person who raped and robbed her???  I will definitely say a prayer for her that is terrible!!!!

No they didn't they found her passed out in the street and took her to the hospital. The person not only raped her, but stole her cash and debit card. I am just glad she is okay and they didn't steal her keys. Josef and I would be staying with her tonight if they had. She was in a terrible state and said she didn't want to tell her mom. I can understand that, not wanting her mom to worry.

40 ish, she is teeny tiny, frail like. Almost anorexic, that is what worries me, she won't eat after this. Thanks for the prayers.

Gosh JSM I hope she will be ok what a traumatic thing to happen - thank God she still has her life even though she is probably going thru hell right now.

So far it is just a cool breeze and a clear night. We just went out and filled the sock feeders with thistle seeds so the would be weighed down and not blow away.

Thanks Gizzie, I am very worried about her. I hope she is okay. She was all scratched up on her elbows and stuff. She was worried that she left her windows open, I told her only spider man could crawl up to her apartment. I even offered Josef to stay the night with her. She seemed better when she left here.

    Of the three women from here, Boxer, Pelosi, and Feinstein, I always preferred Feinstein over the other two, not anymore. For Heaven's sake the prison system needs to release some from the prisons because they are overcrowded. Where the heck would they put them? And why not leave them all where they are
