    Of the three women from here, Boxer, Pelosi, and Feinstein, I always preferred Feinstein over the other two, not anymore. For Heaven's sake the prison system needs to release some from the prisons because they are overcrowded. Where the heck would they put them? And why not leave them all where they are 

I agree.  It blows my mind that the demmies want to treat these prisoners like they are royalty and save their lives when they are damn terrorists but yet they support abortion and don't seem to think it is terroristic to kill a baby via partial birth abortion - oh don't get me started I best leave that alone and move on to something else

Hi JSM.  I'm sorry about your friend.   I'll be praying for her.   I hope this jerk tries to use her debit card so that they can figure out who he is and arrest him.   

Last summer, my daughter was slipped something in her drink by these guys she had just met at a bar.   She immediately passed out on the bar and the bouncer came running over to her, and the guys all split in a hurry.   The girls she was with saw what was going on and called me.   They got the bouncer to help them put her in the car and drove her to my house.   When she got to my house, she was alert.    I was going to take her to the hospital, but she had thrown up a few times and told me she was ok and didn't want to go.   I sat up with her all night and watched her as she slept.   She had just turned 21.   It was a valueable lesson to her - don't ever leave your drink alone when at a bar.   Hold your drink the whole time.   If you go to the bathroom - carry your drink.   Do not drink any drink that is bought for you, if you return from the bathroom.   And Don't trust Anyone - no matter how cute they may look.    And for God's sake - stay with the group.   (These girls were all over the bar and not looking out for each other when this happened).    I hate when my girls go out to bars.

Gizzie my daughter moved out to go to college 30 miles away and as you know I was so depressed - but she did move back home once for 3 months so be sure to keep a room for her - funny but she couldnt understand why I had taken over her room (imagine that) and I had to rearrange again for her to come home - then she moved out again with her now fiance and I was sad yet happy about getting her room back - I tell ya it is bittersweet but the good thing is she is still close and she will appreciate her mom and her home all the more being on her own. 

It is bittersweet, and I felt a little bit better today than I have the past few days. I guess just coming to terms with it, and the 2 of us talking about what we're both going to do, as in spending time together. She promised me we would still go every other Sat to get our nails done, and she's promised to keep in touch with her brother, even tho those 2 fight constantly. Sigh, am gonna miss those fights 

Aaww! She will miss her mom and brother, just watch. 

Oh yeah - she sure is!    Your relationship might actually get better, Gizzie.     My daughters have had their own place for awhile now, and we see each other or talk on the phone all the time.   Its hard to get used to at first, though.

NoRose - I hope things go better today.   Try to just relax and enjoy your dad!   
My dad is 83 and doesn't like anyone treating him like he is old and useless.   He doesn't like it when his kids (especially me, the baby of the family) tell him not to drive his car on long trips, etc.   Your dad is probably the same way.   Its hard for us to accept our parents getting old - but it is probably even harder for them to accept having their children tell them what is good for them.  Isn't life a bitch sometimes?   Its so hard because we love them so much and want to protect them.
