Pictures from today's walk.  It was great, had to take my sweater off for a bit as it was getting too warm chasing after the dog.  He heard something and started after it.  The long leash was on the ground as I was about to take a picture and I did not get my foot out fast enough to stomp on the leash.  He had fun though.

Northern your pictures are beautiful. I love the pinecone and the dog. He is precious. Did you ever figure out what he was chasing?

We finally did bring in the fireplace tools and some firewood. It is going down to 39 tomorrow night, so we may even have a fire. Our house is pretty warm on it's own, and we rarely have to use the heater except on the coldest of days. But the cats love it, as so do we. There is nothing like the lights all off, and sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot spiced cider, or spiced tea or cocoa. On a cold snowy night, there is nothing like it. I guess I really am looking forward to the change of season after all. 

Look out for spiders, many, many spiders, in the fire wood.  And I do mean many spiders.

Thanks, NRCG, it did. I had a little melt down with hubby, it's nice to know i can still cry on his shoulder. And then my Dr, called just to check on me...I was very surprised. He said when I see him next week we'll move up the date of my surgery, which makes me feel very much better. I feel like I have this big lump of cooties on me that are spreading cooties all through me and I WANT IT GONE! I think he gets that. (Smart doctor...there are sharp instruments in his office and I know where they are! )

  Praise Jesus they are moving your surgery up Tevye. That is what I have been wanting to hear. Sorry about your meltdown, let it out, you will have more, BUT you will get rid of this lump of cooties and be better than ever. Just remember JSM and the rest of the crew are here for you!!! CC included.

It was something scurrying under the leaves so my guess was mouse .

My opinion is it will be all the hate mail Rosebud and Mr Rosebud has been receiving in email form as well as the pages of comments from the LKL blog that was given to Brad when they were on the last denial tour.  I am also betting that Rosebud did not like how bad she and Dom looked in what was released today.  She should really stay away form the forums if it bothers her that much.

Oh, how I love that, watching the snow coming down, and then when it is just flurries, going out and shoveling at night, very peaceful

Wow, I didn't realize it got that cold this time of year in Alabama, sounds great to me.  Now my husband is home so I guess they will expect supper
