During the campaign, and I think it was during the speech where THE ANOINTED ONE said that Americans could not continue to eat as much as we want and expect the rest of the world to say, "OK," (Although I don't care what the rest of the world says) he said that our children should learn a second language.  He said that most of us could only say, "Merci."  I guess his second language is Indonesian or Arabic.  He also said that our children could grow up and be in business.  They might go to Brazil.  They would need to learn Spanish. If they learned Spanish, I don't think they could do much business in Brazil.

O' is on tv again right now.     WTF,he can't be getting anything done.It takes all his time setting up and cleaning his teleprompter.

Fanster, I've had an Oreck steam mop in it's box out in the garage for two weeks.  Yesterday I opened it intending to do the kitchen floor.  Well, anyway I got it out of the box.

I have a new shower curtain that I took out of the bag and put the little rings on, maybe I will get to putting it on the curtain rod sometime this week. 

I got 1/2 of the grass cut yesterday evening.I am hoping my hsot helps my are....maybe I'll finish.

Fanster, I've had an Oreck steam mop in it's box out in the garage for two weeks.  Yesterday I opened it intending to do the kitchen floor.  Well, anyway I got it out of the box.

I cleaned the refrigerator and made a grocery list for tomorrow. I made a blueberry cobbler and started some more salmon patties for dinner. Now my back is screaming at me again, and O has got me spitting on the computer screen. I'm gonna sit here a fume a while!!!!

Sit and rest for awhile. We had the devil winds and the heat back, it is so bad. I got some work done, and rested for awhile, I almost vomited from the heat, and I still have to clean the shower  I swear if this heat doesn't go away again, I don't know what I'll do. We had two days where the air didn't have to be turned on, and here we go again.

The weather here in East TN has turned beautiful.  It is in the mid-70s and sunshine.  Our summer was hot, but the coolest since 1920.  Just a few days reached 90. So much for global warming.

OK, all I got done was take a shower and put a pork roast in the oven.  The steam mop is just sitting there looking at me. There's always tomorrow (We hope.)

Right now we are able to have the windows open. That is until my allergies kick in and I have to close up again. It is 60 degrees and we had frost on the roofs today. It is sad to see my garden dying. The leaves have not really started changing to distract me.

Has anyone seen NORTHERN ROSE today? I haven't myself, and I hope everything is ok with her and hers. She is such a great lady, and has a wicked sense of humor on top of it.

I have a $6,000 sewing machine sitting collecting dust ever since I found out about the Caylee case. It is under a cover, and I feel guilty everytime I look at it and all my sewing supplies on the shelves bedside it. It seems I cannot collect my thoughts to even set up my machine to do a beautiful embroidery or even patch a seam in hubby's pants pocket. ( I hate mending anyway!)
My machine used to be a constant companion. Now it seems the computer is.
