   Reminds me of the people here heading to the beer store on payday.We are a dry county you know.   

     You must live down near Dothan, right?   I've been there before.     

I don't live near Dothan,but I know the Bama boys gotta have that brew for the weekend.I used to love and sit at the beer store and watch people slide in at noon on Sundays.     I live in norther 'Bama.   

My uncle made his own wine.   He lived in Dothan.       Probably made moonshine too!     

My Dad makes good wine.His Dad had a still down on the river years ago.They built a fish trap and it is still there today.He died before I was born,so my Dad and I used to go down there and sit and talk about the old times,jump in the river and all that good stuff.The stories he tells me are the only connection I have to my GrandDaddy.I love to listen to him.   


My ex-BIL used to make some good moonshine.I had 3 shots one night and then I woke up the next day.Man I was so sick.     Knocked my running lights out.
You know the stuff that will actually light up with a match.     Ahh....good times.

NRCG,I can't sytand Joy Behart.She had that Garafalo chick on there the other night.She said again all the protesters are racist and that there were no black people at the tea parties.That is not true.     Tha tGarafalo or ever how you spell her name makes me  sick.I'll just say it ...she is a idiot.

Trimm there are very few women in this world that I use a very very bad word for, but Janeane Garafalo and Cindy Anthony fall into this category along with Oprah Winfrey.

I've been out most of the day, but was disgusted to see all the bashing on the Haleigh thread.   WTH is going on?

Night Monkeys. I am very confused about Haleigh and confused about a lot of more things.

I am going to bed and saying prayers for my monkey friends.

I am also praying for my friend guy at work that is in the National Guard and his employeers are trying every way to get rid of him because he has to go on drills and doesn't know exactly what the dates will be because they change. They want him to give a two to three week notice and IBD he can't. There is not definite schedule the Guard can give.

Please pray for my friend. He was so down today. I felt so bad for him, plus I have a bit of a crush on him. We were standing in the hall talking and when I walked  back inside my office, my friends were poking out their heads of their office wanting to know if I asked him out. I can't do that, I am not the type.

He is a very nice guy and doesn't need the BS that a BIG company is giving him because he is in the Guard. 

Sorry for the long story. I just feel bad for him and want him to be happy until he goes to Active Duty. That is what he wants. Thank God for guys that are willing to fight for out lives. Not the jerks that try and keep these guys from serviing our country.

JSM, there are Federal laws about how employers treat the Guard. If I'm still awake later on, I will look them up. Basically, the employer has to accomodate the guard's schedule. Tell him to contact his CO and give him a heads up.
