A reporter asked PM Harper about the US staying for Ahmadinejad speech and what Harper thought.  He said Canada makes it's own decisions just like each country makes decisions on their country's behalf.  PM Harper also said that with Ahmadinejad's recent disgraceful and insulting declarations denying the Holocaust there is no way Harper is going to permit any official of the Govt of Canada to be present and give any legitimacy to remarks by a leader like.

I wish our President and Ambassador felt the same way. I am totally ashamed of what they are doing. 

Harper was really pizzed when he said that. Then he had a sip of Timmie's coffee out of a Timmies mug.

Last day of washing quilts and pillows.  I am glad I am almost done.  We have too many  beds in this house so it takes 3 days to get through them all.  Tomorrow I start on curtains.

I finally got all ours done, but not the curtains and blinds yet. Still working on the linen closet too, one shelf at the time.

  I hope they are pillows you are throwing. I can't stand that man, his wife or any other democrap for that matter right now. 

  Democrap!!  I love it.  My husband gets nuts when he sees Michelle he can't stomach the woman she is like nails on a chalkboard!  Speaking of Michelle she looks to be gaining some weight in a clip they showed on Fox of her speaking to a woman's group about health care - must be all that good food she is eating in the White House and her jetting around to her favorite restaurants - after all she did make it clear in an interview earlier this year that she doesnt miss cooking now that they live in the palace.

Oh I forgot about that Fanny - I don't know what she was thinking here but the belt is a bit much and I think they must have forgot to do her hair that day.

  I guess I'm not a domesticated monkey, or would that be a domestic monkey? Either way, you know what I mean! My hubby's supposed to buy me some of Tims coffee (don't have any by where I live-I'm waiting though!). Good thing I like DD's coffee too!

For those who can't get through the translator, Momar just got through a long rant about Sadaam Hussein being executed. Who did that? Why did they do that? Those responsible should be held accountable!   

He's moved on to asking what's wrong with the Taliban?

Nice and does Imanutjob speak today too? The Canadians aren't going to attend his speech and the Germans say they will bail if he says the Holocaust didn't happen. I'm sure Obambi will listen and nod his head to everything ole Mahmoud says. 

Nope.  Prime Minister is currently in Oakville Ont at the Tim Horton's Headquarters now that Timmies has reorganized as a  fully Canadian Company again.

There was a media question to the Prime Minsiter that asked if it is better to ignore or engage the Iranians as the Canadian representative will be walking out when Ahmadinejad talks today.  PM Harper also talked about Zahra Kazemi the Iranian-Canadian photojournalist who died in Iranian custody in 2003 after she was tortured and beaten.  Harper also said contries with a moral compass should send their message loudly and clearly to the UN.

Good on the Canadians. Everyone should walk out when he speaks.

Hi JSM! I'm so glad I'm in your thread cause I'm 100% OT today! Well, in here I'm not, but I don't want to talk about the Ant-holes or Bozo the Clown either. Don't even feel like reading about them today! Well, unless something good happens! Otherwise, I like OT here much better!

I have to do my cleaning by dribs and drabs QM! NORTHERN ROSE is a workhouse, and can work circles around me.  I just putt-putt-putt, rest a while. Then putt-putt-putt some more. 

I may have been a workhorse a few years ago, now I am just an old nag. 

Doing the King bed today.  Don't like kind size pillows so we have 6 normal pillows .  They take a long time to wash and dry.

Curtains for the rest of the week, then next week if the weather holds, all the throw and area rugs. 

I will consider the linen closet if I am still walking.  Did my daughters closet yesterday, 2 huge bags to goodwill.  Have to do youngest son's closet this week as well.

For dinner tonight I am doing a rosemary stuffed chicken on the BBQ rotisserie with fresh garden potatoes and garden baby corn.  I want to make a chocolate zucchini cake today but not sure I will get there.
