I have been thinking today about O's delay in sending troops into Afghanistan. I am very worried O is getting ready to relieve Gen McCrystal of his duties.     

I believe you are most probably right Fanny. 

O has to keep studying the request for more troops, and has been since August. Gibb's said at the presser today that there were no plans to pull out. What are they planning on doing? Just leave our boys there to be picked off one by one??

I just wonder how much we are going to have to take until this whole mess just tips over, and erupts like a volcano. Each day I don't think we can take any more and each day is more and more stress. Just like the tectonic plates of the earth, something is gonna let go sooner or later. 

Fanny, IDK, I put my trust in God and the soldiers on the ground. I think the MILITARY does not put their trust in their Commander in Chief. They did with Bush. They adored him. Plus I don't put much trust in the MSM. And when it all boils down to it, BO will realize that we need more troops and get the job done. Not let Predator drones do it all, even though I have seen some great videos of them striking targets.

An internal review by the board of directors of the community organization ACORN determined that the amount allegedly embezzled from the community organization was $5 million, well more than the previously reported amount of nearly $1 million, according to a new subpoena in an investigation by Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

The subpoena, released this afternoon, says, “It is still unclear if some of the monies embezzled are from state, federal or private funds.”

Caldwell issued subpoenas in August seeking documents related to Acorn International then-President Wade Rathke and his brother Dale Rathke, who kept the group’s books. Those subpoenas were focused on possible Acorn violations of state employee tax law, obstructing justice and violating the Employee Retirement Security Act.

Update: According to the new subpoena issued by the Louisiana Attorney General, it seems ACORN leadership was aware of the full extent of the embezzlement. That they have covered up the true figure cast doubt on their ability to truely reform the organization. In other words, they will only admit to what they get caught at.

I  know JSM's post was a number of pages back but I wanted to tell her before I forget that I just got Robert Spencer's book about the Koran and have just read a few pages.  Instead of reading about cross-dressers and little boys putting on their mom's bikinis, this should be required reading in schools.

I  know JSM's post was a number of pages back but I wanted to tell her before I forget that I just got Robert Spencer's book about the Koran and have just read a few pages.  Instead of reading about cross-dressers and little boys putting on their mom's bikinis, this should be required reading in schools.  And for girls and their mom's  they should read INFIDEL by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. That book broke my heart.

Baracky Road: A new ice cream flavor by Ben and Jerry in honor of the president. Half Chocolate, half Vanilla, surrounded by fruits and nuts, imported from Kenya in a Communist Red box at a cost of One Trillion dollars a gallon. Manufactured under strict Sharia law, no pork products are used. The rest of the manufacturing details are hidden in secrecy by the White House and will not be released to the public. Negative comments will not be allowed about it. Anyone not liking the new flavor is obviously a racist.

I don't like the sounds of the new flavor 

 

I think Reid and Pelosi will pass a law that we have to eat it or be fined $25,000 and/or one year in jail.
