Night Monkeys. Sleep well. JSM is calling it a night. I am now really freaking out because I have just found 5 dead bees in my bathroom that I never use. I keep hearing noises in the ceiling of my computer room and I thought the noise was just birds in the roof. Now I am thinking it is a bee hive. 

Oh gosh.  Be careful with that.   Call someone and have them check that out - and get rid of them for you.

They are looking for TWO shooters in a domestic dispute.  I am going to go close my balcony door now and try and figure out how to lock it. I really doubt they will come here, because they would have to be spiderman to get up my balcony. If I can find the story I will link it.

Thanks Sassy. I have been finding them on my computer desk and they are dying. So I just (don't tell Muffy) I smoosh them. I will call tomorrow. Have a great evening. I have had too much excitement tonight.  I am going to lock the doors and hope the shooters have run off or the cops have caught them.

Good evening - late evening I guess.  JSM I am glad I caught you to at least say goodnight - we just dealt with bees a few weeks ago in our house - I swatted dead about 60 in 2 days. We called an exterminator and were told that they don't want to be in your house they will try to escape and go toward the light......how they got in we have no clue but we haven't seen any since - the exterminator did not come out they said to wait a few days and see what happens - gosh I hope they go away.

Busy busy day here - we are under a winter storm watch thru tomorrow afternoon - so I hauled azz to wack down my gardens - I am stiff as a board - I always think every spring I need to add on to all my gardens cuz they need more - HA after cutting everything back today I am not ever going to think I need to add more again.  I am used to getting them ready for winter over several weekends not in one day - yikes I am getting old.  I hope everyone had a wonderful day.  I am going to catch up and hit the hay but the good thing is I am off tomorrow for Columbus Day so I am going to spend it with my monkey friends over hot coffee and reading allll day - let it snow let it snow let it snow.

I'm sorry I missed JSM & SASSY. I hope JSM can really get her balcony door locked, as there are people that can climb way up there. I never had any idea she didn't lock that door. Now I'm worried.

Actually I'm feeling a little better, MISSION. My throat doesn't feel nearly as sore, and I don't have any fever. Maybe that sleep was really what I needed.

I see you are getting snow. Do you have any roses. I really don't know what to do with them, especially my climbing ones and I have one in a big pot.  It hasn't really got cold enough here yet to really worry but it soon will.

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better Fanny - sometimes our bodies have a way with telling you to slow down and rest for a few days - I hope that is all it is but be sure to keep low until you are 100%.  I do have roses and I just cut them back to about 6" and they will be fine - the one in the pot you could do the same just be sure to leave 6-8 inches so it will catch the snow while in the pot and stay covered for the winter then come spring it should come back up.  Yes we are expecting snow tonight and tomorrow - our area is slated for 3-5 inches - this is way early for snow - last night it got down to 17.  Brrrrrrr

IT's only been down in the high thirties here at night so far, so it hasn't been bad. We started up our furnace and opened all the windows and doors to let it get that "first of the year" smell out so we'll be ready. We've already got over a cord of firewood, so mostly we will be ready.

I knew I ought to cut my bush rose back, but do you think I ought to cut the climbers too? They just put on the long stems that are as high as the fence this past summer, and I thought they did better the second year on the old wood. I have never had roses up north before.

You have nice climbers Fanny that is awesome - I have never been able to get the climbers to grow but if it were me I would leave them and not cut them back.  You are all ready with the wood cut and the furnace fired up - I wish we had a fireplace - I had one in my home with my ex and I really do miss it - esp the smell of a real fire.  So nice.
