I just got a phone call from a family friend, we have all been family friends since I was 5 years old. They lived across the street from my grandma, we have celebrated many thanksgivings and Christmas's together. I just got a call from the oldest girl, she is almost 60, she was trying to track down my dad, her husband died, I feel just awful for them, they just lost their mom last year, I could just cry, I think that I need to take a walk for awhile.

NoRose, I'm so sorry to hear that. Will your dad be home for the funeral? My sympathies to all of you.

I was checking in to see how Tevye was doing. It might be a bit, way too soon to hear from her. TY for the prayers.
ps I am a baptised United Church ..  it's all the same God.
Tevye is going to do whatever she has to do to recover and so I am.
I have to force myself to do what I am told, but I do it.

I do believe that we are both strong Tevyes and Kats.

Kat you and me are gonna be the hawt cancer survivor girls!!!
(and I did take the drugs and they're starting to kick in and I'm still not caught up, but i say
THANK YOU, one and all, for all the prayers and music (well, except some of CC's stuff, I'm sure that's why I asked for the IV pain drug and valium!).
It looks like ya'll had a blast, I glad and thank you. I was gonna try typing one handed, but just can't. So, this stuff should kick in pretty soon and I'll be out. I VILL be here tomorrow.

And, Kat, I'm prayin for you too!

thanks, Greeneyes. The meds wore off, so I'm waiting for the new batch to kick in. You all are awesome! And just think, today we need to do this for Kat. I may have to learn how to post Youtubes!

wow, you guys were busy today! I hope I can read all the posts before I pass out! Looks like you had fun. Things went ok for me, or so DH tells me. If I'm a good girl, I get to go home tomorrow. I AM BEING BERRY BERRY GOOD! And I'm starving. So i"m gonna go read the last 20 or so pages, I wanted to thank YOU ALL (well, if CC sported that Italian designer look all day, him I may have to think about  ) for everthing.

Thanks, Trim. I had finally fallen asleep at 6:30, and guess waht? They needed totake my vitals and empty drains. So, I'm gonna order a carb loaded breakfast and then go to sleep!
