Fanny I am so sorry to hear about your situation.   If I were closer I would help in a heart beat.  Please call the numbers that Green Eyes has posted.  Think of it this way, if no one called then the people on the other end would be out of a job.  You are helping them keep their jobs by calling.

We will manage so far. I don't know how we will keep our  cpap machines going at night,but what is a little breathing problem at night?  This is such a small problem in the whole scheme of things.  People that have so much more pressing problems have much worse problems than ours.  I am just being such a ninny right now. I am sorry.

Like I said, I have been working on this for two days. I has finally gotten to me. I am just having one of my    moments!! 

Fanny Mae, It does get to us all at one time or another. That's what makes us human, you are allowed to be a ninny right now. It's alright to ask for help every now and again. I know it's hard to ask. Believe me I know. Like I said daughter went thru this, she didn't tell us until it was over and her and Gk sat in the dark for almost a week.  I have found that I don't roll with the ups and downs as well as I use to when I was younger. We are close in age so I understand. I am glad you are going to check out the sites. I am praying one of them will be of help to you. Just keep on Truckin' I have faith it will all work out for you and the family. God Bless

Dude, that's like a month of pay. Are you salaried? Are you handy around the house? Perhaps the single monkeys could give you a month's worth of "HoneyDo" lists to make up for lost income...or fun.

Salaried.  Am thinking about taking 7 days in a row and go the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, GA in April.

Sorry CC. I am sitting here worrying about having our power cut off today over two days grace. Been on time before but have a cut off due yesterday. All I asked was a two day grace until my socical security check gets here Wednesday. No soap. So if I disappear, you all know why.  Sorry to be Debbie Downer her. 

Fanny, most utility companies are not allowed to cut power to senior citizens. Please explore that avenue. Oh hell, send me their phone number, I'll ream em out for ya!

I just got back from a walk, and saw that, how thoughtful of you to post those links, it is sad that people have to worry so, regardless of the situation. Being here in CA, I worry about our electric bill all summer and then some, but what can you do but pay those horrible charges    Carrie, no I went to look to see about the little girl Somer, and then go interested in reading more, how sad. Northern Rose thoses pics are beautiful, would love to be there.

Morning Monkeys!  My thoughts and prayers are with Kat and Tevye today.  Tevye I hope you are feeling better and that they serve you a huge breakfast. 

I had a huge delicious omlet and toast. They also served me this stuff in a coffee cup that they said was coffee, but I believe it was just hot water. But the food was great, now I have to eat some pumpkin bread one of the nieces made for me. Yum Yum!

Tevye you are correct, and if they both use breathing machines at night, there is no way I can see the power being turned off  Hope you are feeling good, also hope they keep you in today, I know you want to go home, but it is probably better to stay.

JSM  I am with you on the cold. Years ago my dad brought me electric socks, because My feet would get cold.      Since moving here to Texas I have used them. Love them they keep my toes warm, so the rest of me doesn't freeze during winter.  We are suppose to be getting more rain tomorrow. Yuck!!!!! I have enjoyed the last couple days with the sunshine. 

Electric socks. I need some of those. I just saw the weather a minute ago and that it is going to start raining again. The last few days have been beautiful. It makes Josef a little hyperactive though.

  Hope you, your little one, and your pup are better. I had left a post yesterday about putting pup's meds in peanut butter, nothing else, that has been a miracle giving meds to Zoe
