  I'm sorry about your sister Mission.       Good Morning    At midnight the door bell rang, I was asleep, my husband and daughter were watching tv. The police were at our door. A neighbor had called to report a small child around five walking around  my daughter told the police that about an hour earlier Zoe was barking at something outside our gate, and she went to look but nothing was there. Then my daughter said about 45 min after the police left she heard helicopters  I can't find anything local to see what happened, I hope that they found the child, we have a lot of kids in the neighborhoods here, but I have no idea who the five year old girl would be.

Good morning monks - it is a beautiful crisp sunny WINTER morning here we got 2 inches of snow and it is 17 degrees.  I think I will start my Christmas shopping today - Juuuuust kidding.    Although we are going to a huge Christmas Auction - they do it every year it is all outdoor decorations - I need all new stuff - I love the iron pieces wrapped in lights so that is what I am going to zero in on.  Furnace is now fixed and I am toasty warm.

I guess what I'm trying to say, that part of the process when a loved one dies or is dying being human or animal, blame is part of it, you can't help yourself.

No truer words were ever spoken - it is part of the anger stage.  My sister died at 21 and my dad still blames the doctors and it has been 20 years - he can't help it. 

Sorry I am so late getting back here from my last post but the neighbors stopped in and the furnace guy was here - chaotic to say the least.

Thank you JSM - I am at peace with it now but it took me a long time to get to that place.  She died of Leukemia - after 2 bone marrow transplants from my sister who was a 90% tissue match - she wouldn't grow any good white cells - she was very courageous and what I watched her go thru at such a young age was heartbreaking but she is no longer suffering and with God. I'm certain if it were today she would have survived because they have come a long long way in treating cancer - however she does live in my heart and soul that is for sure.

My mom was supposed to call me before they left to go to Colorado. My stepdad had to work today and they were leaving once he got through with work. I thought maybe he had a long case and they hadn't left yet. So I call her cell phone and they are almost to Amarillo. She forgot to call and hadn't called any of us.  Plus they left late afternoon and are halfway across Texas. I have to ride with them at Christmas.  I hate riding in a car especially if it is going fast. Please pray I get the swine flu or bird flu or whatever other animal flu there is at Christmas so I don't have to go. 

But then you would be alone at Christmas and I don't want to pray for that - I want you to be with family.  How about we convince them to fly? 

I would be here with my monkey family though.  I think I will probably fly halfway and ride the rest of the way.

Good morning Mission. OMG 17 degrees. I am glad your furnace is fixed. I love decorating outdoors for Christmas. My apartment balcony looks like Christmas Vacation. I won the prize for best balcony two years ago, but it was even better this year and I didn't win squat.
