Folks are in town from Cocoa Beach, Sis and BIL from Charlotte, niece and her husband a baby from Charlotte, and nephew and his gf from Queens are also all in town. All of us getting together Friday late afternoon after golfing with BIL and my Mexican friend for pizza and beer at my brother's and his wife's place in Northern suburbs, along with thier daughter who attends Purdue.

Will try to drop in throughout the day until 4:00.

My son has been to Perdue twice in the past year to help present workshops. Ask your niece if she knows Dr French.(Not my son.)

I know of Mr. French -

Uncle Bill leaves for a trip (and having trouble finding his dentist as well) and Mr. French goes out for the evening, leaving Casey to watch the twins. Then Casey leaves to go to a concert (big mistake) and leaves her friend Zanny in charge. Then Zanny comes down with the measles and her mama comes to watch the kids. Then her mama leaves to take care of Zanny and puts her husband and his poker pals on babysitter duty. My lord, what a turn of events, but thankfully Bill and French come home to see all the trouble that Casey started in the first place.

I came in to see what is happening, been doing yard work again  and we are in a new cage  Now I will  walk the dog and make my dad lunch after I get caught up  Then phase two of the yard 

What is phase two?   
I am getting nothing done over here.It has been chaotic since Saturday and I refuse to let myself get sucked into the drama.Needless to say Hubby has gone to the store without me.I have had it.He didn't do anything,but I think I need to stay in the den and be quiet so I don't hurt anyone's feelings.

I can guarantee she is saving lives by having this thread  I would hate to see what would happened if I couldn't come here to vent  They don't have to do anything, sometimes I just have to look at my husband and I could scream, I'm usually upstairs, he is downstairs watching tv. Just little things that he does that irritates me, the way he sits at the dinner table, the way he cuts his food.....I could go on and on, but I need to go work in the yard again. Phase two, is moving my statues, cleaning and putting down fresh bark, generally just cleaning up. I'm the crazy person that has to have everything in order, or I go nuts

I came in to see what is happening, been doing yard work again  and we are in a new cage  Now I will  walk the dog and make my dad lunch after I get caught up  Then phase two of the yard 

My yard work just decreased drastically to one task - snow shoveling.  Love Mother Nature!

I know it is early for snow, but at least now just shoveling. I shouldn't say just shoveling that can be hard work, do you have a snow blower?

We have two.  Hubby spent majority of last Saturday tinkering with the smaller one.  Not sure why as with his back he can not use it and it is too heavy for me to control.  If we get a big dump of snow my neighbours come and plow me out, other than that it is me , my shovel, and I.

I need one.    Let me tell you what is happening.My stepson is 28 and has been to rehab a couple of times.He is also the one who had the baby that was beat to death by his ex wifes boyfriend.O.k.,after all this you would think he would straighten up.
After watching me almost lose it and try to keep my chit together every day you would think he would say to himself....I am aan azz and I need to grow up.   

He has anew girlfriend,and I already sized her up.Told hubby no good was coming from this.I get the look.   
Well,Saturday the stepson and GF get  into an altercation with her family and they are in jail.The judge ordered Rehab.
One word...moderation.I you can't moderate then abstain.I am so disgusted.
Hubby is upset because once again he has been duped by his son.Wake up people.the mother has given him money time after time.Drug addicts don't pay bills,they buy drugs.
Anyway,I am trying not to get cranked up.Nobody wants to talk to me.   
I love this cage.   

Oh Trimm. That is awful. I hope they get rehab and he gets away from the gf afterwards. I will say a prayer for him. Stay here in the cage with us monkeys.

JSM- I posted this this morning.  This is what we woke up to and it has not stopped snowing yet. 

Oh that is beautiful Northern. I love snow as long as I don't have to drive in it.  I can't wait to see the skating rink/curling ice.

Yes it is, and I'm so sorry for all this now that you have to go through. You have enough on your plate, I think it is best to just go to your den and not say anything, I find that to be the best, otherwise I go off and say a whole lot of things that I shouldn't. One thing to look forward to, is your little grandson coming over this weekend, I know the two of you were going to play a new game that came out. The two of you just enjoy and let the drama unfold. I have had so much dam_ drama in this house, that eventually I just shut down and don't pay attention.

So sorry for stepson issues, duct tape mouth shut and stay in den talking to your monkey friends until things cool down... we are here for you!!!

 

Trimm- I have a stepdaughter that just doesn't have a single brain cell...anyways I got fed up a couple weeks a go and told her she was f*&%"n up her 6 year old sons life by her actions......oh, that went over REAL GOOD!!! My dh wasn't impressed cause he was tryin to tell her nicely and I just blurted it out!! but good part is I haven't seen much of her,,,, she now calls hubbie's cell ph instead of house so she doesnt have to talk to me.....

You sound like me, I just blurt, I'm getting better, but half the time I figure I don't care if you think I'm nuts. You all would be doing me a favor putting me in a hospital, at least that way, the meds would be there, I would just have to go to therapy sessions, and the rest of the time would be my time, and I could sleep, and not deal with BS. Okay, now I'm scared, that all sounds great to me  I must need a break.
