Yes you are right Northern. Monkey friends that make me laugh are much better than people you haven't seen in years. Plus monkeys aren't critical about your looks, how much money you make, etc. Monkeys love monkeys with no questions asked.  I am so happy I am here tonight instead of going to that stuffy (cold arse) on a patio in 50 degree weather reunion.

I am so glad you have had a good time. I am fading fast here, so I am going to snuggle down and get some sleep. This was alot more fun that any real party I have been to in a long time. And nobody has to clean up.

Are you kidding?  No apology needed - I havent laughed like that in a long time - the Jack Russell is staring at me like I have lost my mind - well......for awhile there I think I did.  Laughter is so healthy.  My stomach and sides hurt.

Although their grammar is considerably better than that of the dog, most cats are considered to be "uppity". Therefore, most people don't hear them, they tune them out. Cats seem to yammer on and on, while dogs keep their communications short and to the point.

"I gotta pee" is dog language. A cat would say "Excuse me, person who is able to use the can opener. I realize that you think you are busy fixing food for these other humans, but at this moment I need your ATTENTION! STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND TAKE CARE OF MY NEEDS! IF YOU DO NOT STOP IMMEDIATELY, I WILL ACT LIKE A MONKEY IS PULLING MY TAIL AND PULL ALL YOUR CURTAINS DOWN! I will then pee in a plant, and scratch your grandmothers Chippendale  desk, which you know you'll never be able to afford to have fixed because your husband is a drunk bum!"

So true! My cats are nagging me the minute my feet hit the floor in the morning, even if I was just going to go to the bathroom! It never stops until I feed them, even if I try to just go back to bed.

I'll tell you something else.  Cats are liars.  They'll run across the floor, put on their brakes, slide into the refrigerator and hit their head.  Then, they get up, shake themselves and say, "I meant to do that."

Well, kids, it's my bedtime. Have to be up early to go to church with hubby. Wonder what's on XM radio tonight? Gah, I hope it's not Duffy's Tavern, maybe it'll be Phillip Marlowe or Orsen Wells.

  We are under a Winter Storm Watch until Monday night - yikes and I havent even begun to get my gardens wacked down yet - I usually dont take them down completely until around Halloween.
