I stayed up way too late last night and had more than my 3 allotted ML's. My head hurts and I gotta go to church. I think I will go to Mass at noon instead of 11. 

I'm not going at all today. Hubby and son have already gone, and they are going to stop by the store on the way home.  My throat is still sore. I will call doctor if not better tomorrow. I have a feeling I may have picked up a bug at his waiting room, because I haven't been out lately, and that was the only place I went. Incubation time is about right.

Fanny, I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Call the doctor tomorrow. When did you get your flu shot, it could just be from that.

I know, but you are still going tomorrow, aren't you? You're not going to back out on us, Please. And I am going to see if the doctor will try something without me coming in this time. If not, I'm going with a towel wrapped all the way around my head, with son and hubby leading me in.    I think he will send me something.

That's why they should make everyone with sneezing and coughing wear a mask. That's what they did to me at the doctor's office. It was awful cause I am very claustrophobic. Good thing I am not a muslima and had to wear a Burhka

YVW No Rose.  I just have to drive a bit farther, but this Mass usually doesn't last a full hour.  I guess I could go at one, but I don't speak Spanish, so that it out. 

You should have the whole thing memorized by heart....You might learn some new spanish words.

  But remember when Mass was in Latin, and I don't think anyone knew what was going on, I wonder if some Masses are still said in Latin, heck I took two years of Latin in high school    Fanny, thanks, next time I take Zoe for a walk I will take a spatula  I really try to hold back my comments to people, not with the family, that is fair game, but I try to watch what I say, and I have no idea why my friend started on Obama last night, I guess she figured I was a liberal kook like my husband. I'm afraid to run into her again, I think I scared her

No I'm going, and I'm going to lay it out what is happening with me, and I'm not leaving that office until he takes me seriously, and changes my meds. I'm just afraid of picking up something, the waiting room has no windows and it seems like no air, and you have to sit so close to people  I'm usually not paranoid about that, but with this swine flu, I am afraid. I sure hope your doctor sends in a prescription to the pharmacy, but he might want to check your throat, just in case it is like strep throat.

The Miss America organization has awarded President Barack Obama the coveted title of Miss America. The 50 state contestants, as well as one from Puerto Rico, unanimously voted to elect him as the 2010/2012 title holder. This is an unprecidented event, as no saint has ever been judged as Miss America.

  

  I also read that the NHL cancelled the 2009/2010 season and awarded BHO the Stanley Cup.

Morning No Rose. I hope you had a good evening last night. 

I'm so glad all of you did, I was going to come on and enjoy the evening with all of you, but the depression and anxiety got in the way. My daughter and I walked Zoe, and I got into an argument with a neighbor/friend at the park. I was in one of those moods, where I didn't care what I said, and now this morning I feel guilty for it. I need to stop talking about my insanity, I'm going to run everyone away, and that is not my intentions. I appreciate and have come to really think of all of you as friends, and I don't want to ruin it. Have a great day

BTW - I'm scared of the swine flu, too.   I'm putting off going to the dentist because it is reportably widespread in our area and I'm afraid I might catch it.

That's what happened to my husband four years ago, he got a flu shot the first one he ever got, and about a week later he became so ill. WTH, I wonder if there something in the flu shot that makes some people ill. I have never gotten one, and after what I saw my husband go through I will not, never. Speaking of my husband and his politics, he has me so riled up right now with his liberal talk, and some of the things he is saying to me because my views are different, he just called me a facist, my dad is just sitting there, like WTH. I don't even really know what a facist is  I could wring his neck right now, I'm staying clear of him for the rest of the day, before I go nuts on him. And tomorrow my dad and husband are taking me to the doctor, I told my husband take my dad over and the two of you have a burger while I'm sitting there and seeing the doctor

I got sick after a flu shot many years ago & swore Id never get another - what is the use if you're gonna feel like crap anyways.   Now, since my diagnosis I was told I have to get them and not to let infection/congestion go.    I get sick pretty easily, my immune system is weak apparently.     Monday I have an appt right before respiratory/physical therapy (same building). so Im going to discuss the pros and cons of the flu shot with my doc then.   Im feeling a bit better but whatever bug I have is still lingering & I cant get rid of this headache totally.

I hope everyone starts feeling better, huggs all around.  Its best to go to the doc's then to let something go - to me the risks of letting something go far outweigh the likelihood of catching something at the doctor's office & in the past I was always one to wait thinking something would pass or not get too serious.   If one gets compromised and ends up in the hospital, you run the same risk there but at that point you have no choice...been there, done that.

NoRose -  I know things are really hard right now.   Please take care.   Don't worry about what people say.     
The fact is...  the conservatives in this nation are being shoved down and their voices are not being heard through mainstream  media outlets.   
If we disagree with policy, we are told we are racists and such.    It is maddening. 
For me, sometimes I just have to walk away from it and take a breather and trust God.
Know that we love you and care about you.
