BBL, gotta go to the bank for the docs and then pick up Josef. But I am going to the grocery store before that, because I need junk food. Oh and ML. 

Drive careful JSM and get enough junk food for tomorrow night's Monkey reunion.  Will you get me some honey mustard pretzels?

I didn't make it to the grocery Mission, so I will pick them up tomorrow after I skate.

Ok Monkeys I am leaving work - they got their money's worth out of me today.  I am going to get on my most bestest sweats and softest sweatshirt pour me some wine and get on and hang out in the cage tonight.  Our lows are going down to 28 and tomorrow our highs will only be in the 30's - this is a bit early for this kind of cold especially when I have lots to do outside yet - clean up the gardens and get the camper ready for winter so I hope it warms a little next week.

For those I may not see later have a great weekend and to the rest of you....later

   I'm back as long as I have a roof. It's still storming,buit I have power.We got some bad winds 60mph.I will ride it out in the cage.   

I'm glad everything is okay. Sounds like you are getting the crap we had last night and this morning. I am freezing right now and don't want to turn on the heater.

Thanks, what's left, my daughter has Hotmail, and she was going to set up an account for me there    I've just about had it in my house folks, the dysfunction and nonsense, and then my dad adds to it. I'm upstairs I don't want to go down. Now what is for supper, they are taking about it now, I could care less.

Okay, today I picked Josef up from daycare because they are now open on Fridays (so I didn't have to get him from the vet office).

I walked him around, he went did his business, I walked him around the building from the back up to the front where the vet clinic is and waved to one of the girls that works up front. She came out through the side door and was loving on Joe and out storms this woman (looked like she came from Satsuma) carrying a blanket. Then I saw a chihuahua head pop up. This lady starts yelling FU to the girl that works there, "I will never send anyone to this F'ing clinic, you people told me to take my dog home to die, F-off" I mean she went into a tirade. The poor girl was terrified. I asked her what was going on, and she told me that the lady came in with her dog that had never been on heartworm prevention, never had been tested for heart worms and the dog was diagnosed with heartworms and the lady said she couldn't afford the heartworm treatment.

This poor girl was so scared she said she was glad that Josef was outside while all this was going on.

I understand not having the money for treatment. Josef got heartworms when he was with my ex, my fault I thought he was getting the pills once a month.

But for that lady to blame this poor girl, the vet and yell obscenities was ridiculous. I understand not being able to afford the treatment, but prevention is a lot cheaper and heartworm pills for a dog that weighs 6 lbs is a lot less than one that weighs 50 to 100 lbs.

Long story short, SOME PEOPLE shouldn't have pets or children. This woman reminded me so much of Cindy Anthony (not in looks, just her mouth and actions) I wanted to punch her lights out.

I really feel sorry for the dog though.

 JSM, I will come and you will have the cleanest house, I will organize everything, I'll even cook  Now about the lady with the dog, she shouldn't have done that, but sometimes with an animal or human that is very ill, the person will scream and carry on because they can't handle the fact of the situation. When my mom died my dad blamed the doctors and everything, but it was his way of venting, and I do believe he was right, they didn't do the right things, and if they did my mom would not have died. I have all the paperwork from her doctor, not the doctor that took care of her when she ended up in the hospital, we went there one afternoon and he talked to my dad and me. I came home very upset and yelling that they didn't do the right thing and my mom died. So maybe this lady was doing that, I don't know, and yes it can get scary, poor pup

I guess what I'm trying to say, that part of the process when a loved one dies or is dying being human or animal, blame is part of it, you can't help yourself.

No Rose, I am so sorry what you went through with your mom. I totally understand. I went through that with my Grandma, knowing that something isn't right. The sad thing is, she didn't want to get well and was told by family members she didn't need to suffer. She may have been okay if she had done a few tests. But that is another story. 

You know me more than anyone, I would give God my life for Josef's. As probably this woman would for her little dog (the dog looked fine to me), so that is why I was so puzzled why she was yelling the F word about. Heartworms are a bad thing and easily preventable. Sometimes I forget to give Josef his and pray when I do, his tests come back negative. The treatment is costly and I so feel for the woman, but they didn't tell her to take her dog home to die, she chose that option. When Josef had them, I tightened the belt, had a garage sale, went to the pawn shop to get the money I needed to get him well.

I hope she takes the dog to another vet (mine is an ER clinic so their fees are higher) and gets the dog the treatment he needs.

NOW, you come here anytime you want. You don't have to cook. You can clean, organize, mop, vacuum and walk Josef in this cold damp air. I would love to have you here and Josef would love it as well.
